Yeah.

Now I gonna adjust my recording settings to use the channel at 570Mhz.

Kinda strange why they did that, instead of leaving the channel at 586Mhz and turning off the one at 570Mhz.

Mediacorp going to return the ch35 UHF back to IMDA

Good to remove 1 channel frequency (ch35) for end-user. The best is to remove the Ch33 too. Keep ch29 and ch31 will do.
They edited the program name as:
CH5 HD --> channel 5,
CH8 HD --> Channel 8,
CH U --> Channel U, and upgrade this program from SD to HD quality
............

Some thumbdrive are slow, I experienced this before when doing recording. Switch to usb3 thumbdrive problem solved but I'm using Draco box.

Go for better brand like funke.

Funke is the top brand in dvb antenna but still no guarantee that you can receive malaysia channels. You can receive only if you live at high floor and facing JB, without blockage in between.

Yes, just need the Funke antenna and you can watch digital channel right from your Philips TV.

These two weeks, my TV (not Digital Tv) that was purchased in 2012 kept giving out loud squeaking noises. 6 months ago, iMDA personnel came to my house to install the setup box and antenna.

Does anyone know how to get rid of the loud squeaking noises? Thanks in advance.

If your TV come with usb port, play a video clip using a thumbdrive & see if the loud squeaking noises occurred or play a dvd if you've dvd player. You need to confirm is your TV speaker faulty or not before blaming the digital tv box.

I don't want to do full auto rescan as it might mess up my channel number settings
