This is not something breaking, innovative or world's first. It's just copying and repackaging what other countries have done.

The only innovative and world first I can think of is the ERP. Really 100% efficient in collecting $$$ from drivers and non-drivers.

Breaking as in drastic changes. Nothing else much.

As for ERP, its good for collecting money. Not so good for solving traffic problem. As with many things incumbent style, it just kick the can down the road. In ERP sense, push the traffic to congest other roads not affected by the ERP. As those vehicles and people still need to go where they need to go, ERP or not.

it's sad to see a first world country with this kind of 3rd world behaviors...

the original intention is to promote recycling amongst the general population, but now it seems to show the ugly side of the country - when people have to search for thrown away cans / bottles just to 'earn' 10 cents per piece, assuming these people are less well-to-do and don't have the support from society.

next month (from 1 Oct) when retailers are no longer allowed to sell drink cans / bottles without the logo, it'll become even more widespread.

Everything have two sides. The good and the bad. Should have seen it coming bah, when implement such. Some more the rich poor gap so wide. Will have people go for such lesser money one.

thats why when this BCRS was implemented, its just another white collar elephant project to either track, or to spend the excess acummulated funds , and its now getting alot of flak like the return tray


again, cursedes to those who think and implemented this rather than have it money free.

Irony of it, Civil serpants salaries must increase, but the way they think and spend on public funds are amazingly r3t@rded , worse than my nieces and nephews can think off

Don't worry, once it normalize (which eventually will) the general public will have no choice but to resign to fate whether they like it or not, just like return tray and other policies no one asked for.
