It’s fine when dumpster divers just pick stuff … use the metal hook thing to pull rolling shutters down, to move stuff around, as long as everything else stays inside the bin / dumpster.

It’s not fine when people start emptying out bins on the floor or worse, bring to stone table or bench at void deck, to slowly sort out … after that leave everything there.

That’s what happened with Shunfu Ville prior to privatisation, it got so bad to the point the pro-privatisation folks could use it to argue that by privatising now even though lift upgrading only completed on 1 side of every block’s lifts, they can keep such activity out of the estate.

Design a better bin with two holes.

One for 10 cents bottles/cans, the other for others.

Another scheme to make sub-con huat ah!

Think come out with smart bin better. Auto scan for these recyclable when pass through the opening. And spit them out, or better still redirect to store in separate section of the bin space created inside, that cannot be tamper with. So, that the recycle company under the scheme can later come collect for their own gain.

This one whoever design and make it think will be very huat. Not just simply huat. As think given local pattern it will be costly. Can profit more from it then.

Before this crap, neighbourhood already have a person who always rummage through all the recycle and rubbish bins whenever walk pass. Think its a habit to look for recyclable of value.

But the person seems ok. Always carry a long umbrella and use it to poke and toss the bins. Not really use hand. And don't come across as messy about it.

Think that person now jialat liao. Have more competition with this crap.

there is also the case that people dig out all the trash from the bins for cans/btls but they didn't bother to put it back as well.
this also create more pest and risk to people specially kids

put the bins under a camera... and put cameras around the blue bin. Those cameras must have night visions

then when some boomers go flip, let them pick up all the cans and bottles for that 10 cents

then days later, issue them with fines of $500.

Hi can i check if anyone has tried to return this kinda milk container? it's 2L and it seems like the machine opening is abit small for this. but they already start charging 10 cents for it
