Just bought a CPU & Mobo bundle from a major retailer but surprised to see the mobo only comes in a white box that does not have the usual retail packaging / sleeve but has local distributor warranty via invoice...

Wonder if this is a System Builder stock? Any ideas / info share on such mobo sets...?

Not sure about Lian Li PSU, since it's not on the tier list. But generally cant go wrong with seasonic. My personal rule of thumb is always go for seasonic or superflower.

seasonic: https://www.cybenetics.com/evaluations/psus/2579/
Lian Li: https://www.cybenetics.com/evaluations/psus/2458/

Basically, both are great and u can't go wrong with either. It depends on their physical dimensions and if you don't have any requirements for that (no case constraints), just get the lian li if they are the same price simply because 850w.

Although I would pick Montech CENTURY II 850W instead:

Simply because it's usually the cheapest option and on the same tier as the other 2.

I went to the store... This mobo model stocks are all non-retail packaging... 😅

There are a mixture of non & retail packaging for all other mobos...

At least got local distributor warranty, fingers crossed...

Was thinking to rebuilt.
Anyone can help or advise any of the parts can reused?

CPU & MB Bundle: AMD Ryzen R5 1600 & Asrock AB350M Pro 4
RAM: Kingston ValueRAM DDR4 2400Mhz 8GB
SSD: Samsung EVO 850 M.2 250GB
Hard Disk: Toshiba 1TB
GPU: Zotac GT1050 TI 4GB GDDR5
PSU: EVGA 700W Bronze
MasterBox Lite 3.1 m-ATX
OS: Windows 10 pro

Will be mainly use for movies or attach to prism TV as well as for work n stock monitoring.
this setup should be more than enough for ur use case. as deepblue mentioned, maybe all u need is to add another 8gb stick of ram.
A pricing sense check here:

Cosair Vengeance RGB CL30 6000 2x16GB
Thermalright Core Vision 360 ARGB AIO
MSI B850Gaming Plus Wifi
Superflower Leadex VI Platinum Pro 850W
AMD 9800X3D
Sapphire Pulse 9070XT

Total $2,569
invaders cheapest am5 9070xt offering with the r5 7600 is around 1.6k. im not sure if the 98x3d, aio and better psu are worth almost 1k (>60%) more.
How to know if these are compatible with my current case?
things to look out for are radiator, motherboard, psu and gpu compatibility.

currently i see nzxt c850 gold for also around the same price on laz direct from distro before voucher, so that would be the go to for me. the fsp vita gm 850 is also decent.

Bro, thanks for info share.

Yeah, I'm sure it's legit due to receipt stating local warranty. Except can't take component boxes photos like those PC Builder YT clips... 😅

Hi any recommendations for a budget DIY rig (on a budget of 600-700) or would it be better to get from aftershock etc?

what monitor do you plan to use? you can get away with a igpu actually with your usage that means even a beeslink will do.
