what rams do you all reco getting nowadays? Kingston fury or kingston fury regenade ddr 5 32/64gb? Thanks!
just get the cheapest fastest memory. ideally u want the mhz to be high and the cl figure low, something like 6000mhz cl30 is a good sweet spot. 32gb is enough for most people, i would only go 64gb if i have a specific app that will utilise more than 32gb.
Ended up purchase from Mansa 😅
Added AIO cooler($70) just for aesthetic purchase.
Not the cheapest out there but ok ba 🙈
Definitely an upgrade from my 7 year old build
:s11: :s11: :s11:
that is very expensive for a 5600x + 4060 build, thought already tell u avoid? i think a better choice would be go for ur option 1 invaderpc 5600 + 4060ti and whatsapp them to swap out the stock cooler for aio + psu upgrade, come out cheaper and faster pc also.
I need some quick pointers because I am out of touch since 2015
I need to make a quick purchase.

The Invader PC baseline rig below meets my budget - but I can tweak my budget.

Which important components should I change/upgrade.
How about the RX7700XT

Specifically, the Silverstone PSU - there are other options in the link above.

- ASUS ROG STRIX 750-750W GOLD FULLY MODULAR
- CORSAIR RM750E-750W 80+ GOLD ATX3.0 FULL MODULAR
- COOLER MASTER MWE V2 850W GOLD FULLY MODULAR (Tier B ?)

Thanks in advance to the gurus here.

SGD $ 1,535.00

Radeon RXâ„¢ 7700XT | Ryzen 5 7600X
  • AMD RYZEN 5 7600X 4.7GHz 6CORE/12THREAD
  • ASUS TUF GAMING B650M-E WIFI MOTHERBOARD
  • COOLER MASTER HYPER 212 SPECTRUM V3 ARGB
  • KINGSTON FURY BEAST RGB 5600MHz 16GB(8GBx2) CL36 AMD EXPO
  • POWERCOLOR HELLHOUND AMD RADEON RX7700XT 12GB
  • CRUCIAL P3 PLUS 1TB GEN4 NVMe M.2
  • SILVERSTONE ET750-G 750W V1.2 80+ GOLD
  • COOLER MASTER TD300 ARGB MESH BLACK EDITION
  • 3 X 120MM ARGB FANS
  • HIGH SPEED AX WIRELESS AND BT | WIFI 6 + BT 5.2
  • WINDOWS 11 HOME UN-ACTIVATED
i would spend just $10 more for their 7500f + 4070 build, that has 15% more gpu horsepower and functionally identical specs otherwise. as for psu, i would go for the asus rog strix upgrade, the other 2 options u listed have shorter warranties.
CORSAIR Vengeance RGB DDR5 RAM 32GB (2x16GB) 6000MHz CL30 Intel XMP iCUE Compatible Computer Memory - White (CMH32GX5M2B6000C30W) https://amzn.asia/d/55tqtM5

Would this one be ok?
i would go for the adata xpg lancer rgb kits as listed by the recommendations in the first post, its cheaper and u get local warranty too.
Actually Windows and Microsoft activation key provided by shopee seller, is cheap but is it safe? later is what shared key kena hack. In case 😅
should be safe.

Hi there, is 24 inch or 27 inch display more suitable for 1080P? I am looking to upgrade my 60hz monitor. Will I be sacrificing picture quality if I opt for 27 inch?

Anybody know of any low profile ITX casing that is NR200 layout ( itx & sfx psu on the same plane )
Like the layout in below pic but slimmer ( < 125 mm width ; i intend to use low profile gpu without riser )

Basically like a low profile NR200

24inch

27 FHD, picture quality not very sharp, especially for monitor where you sit very close to it...for 27, at least QHD

Thanks! Yes I sit very close to it due to my short sightedness and picture quality is essential. Think that 24 inch is better and cheaper too.

Hi, can someone recommend me a itx combo of CPU, MB and ram around $1000 to pair with 4070ti.
u can look at the ryzen 7 7700 + msi b650i edge @ $773 (758 + 15 for bundle only) from dynacore and adata xpg lancer rgb 2x 16gb 6000c30 @ $172 from tradepac.

24". u start seeing 1440p monitors at 27".
Will I be sacrificing picture quality if I opt for 27 inch?
there is a loss in dpi, but whether u can feel it is another story.

quite hard to find, tried searching on taobao but the closest i could find was with 1u rather than sfx psu.

most cases with sfx psu is sandwich style.

Same with my search, most require flex psu but I would prefer to go with a more standard sfx psu

Playing games like dota, league, valorant, cs2, ark survival...
Should i diy or go for prebuild pc?

hi all, hoping to get some suggestions on new mobo to get (prefer Mobo that support DDR4 rams)

im currently using asrock b550m /ac with fractal design north case. With the nzxt kraken elite installed at the top, i was unable to install the vengence pro RBG rams even with the SL version.

can anyone recommend me a new mobo where the rams sit lower so i have more ram clearance space? my CPU is ryzen 5600. FYI using xpg rams and its fits just nicely only - the rgb are horrible (they look nicer in pics than they really are)

looking for some advice for replacing or upgrading my machine because it has started to shut down after entering games, or sometimes when watching youtube videos. sometimes I get the power cutoff kind of shut down (goes to black), and sometimes I get the video_TDR_failure nvlddmkm.sys error. Tried troubleshooting to no avail. I tried games like Dredge and it shut down my PC not even 1 min into loading the cinematic intro into the game, or crash in the middle of AOE2DE.

My current system was gotten from Aftershock in 2018 June.

Chassis: H500I
CPU: i5-8400
Mobo: ASROCK B360 PRO4
Graphics: Zotac GTX 1070ti
Cooling: Aftershock Glacier 240 closed loop watercooling
RAM: 16GB x2 DDR4 2666Mhz
SSD: 250GB Samsung 860 EVO M.2
HHD: 2x Toshiba 1TB
Chassis Fan: Default

I want to upgrade to something that can comfortably game 1440p on ultra settings.

Was looking into 4070ti paired with AMD Ryzen 5 7600 with a Gigabyte X670 Aorus Elite AX mobo.
But I'm not sure if I am going too much with this.

i'm not into SFF builds but i do have a friend that love doing this.
spoken to him many times about this same issue you're having.
he have chosen to use a super thin rad plus super thin fan AIO combi and he is able to fit specific low profile argb ram. (let me ask what ram he using.. i will get back to you on this)
he did all these just because he die die want to have argb ram in his build.
he say argb will boost his fps.. so he cannot live without it.

nothing to do with motherboard.. (it's casing issue)

but to each his own, your choice bruh/sis..
you want to explore swapping out your fans for thinner ones?

added: my friend say he bought gskill ram

not sure if this will notify u, but maybe something u can consider is 3d printing ur own case? been thinking about designing my own case for a while as a fun little project.

easiest would be to go for aftershock's 5600 + 6700xt for $900, really unbeatable price and will run ur games very well though u will have to deal with the low quality mobo, nvme and psu.

i dont think there will be much variation between mobos with regards to ram slot height since that is quite standard (like cpu height from pcb surface), maybe u should look for cases that mount the radiator further from the motherboard.

probably, neither of the games u mentioned look difficult to run, so u will be served just as well by a much cheaper 4070/7800xt imo though do ur research to see if those cards deliver adequate performance for ur other games as well. the x670 also feels overkill for a 7600, though if u like its features and aesthetic and fits in ur budget then by all means.
