Uninstall Dlink BT Client

Hi all,

anyone knows how do I uninstall the BT client?

I have tried to remove the Nas_Prog directory, but seems like the BT daemon is still running.

When I issue a top statement, I will see the following line:

1595 1 root R 120 0% 6% ./btdog ./bt --daemon-loop

Hi all dns 323 users. Ive got a beginner's question to ask. Im now considering getting this product for a network storage. But my first question is, ill just need to plug the eternet cable into my router and it will detect the ip address automactically? And it can be used from there?

And how to set up my other pc's to detect this dns. Any form of mapping needed?

Any form of step by step guide on how to get started would be good!

thanks.

interested in buying off from me?? wanna get a 343 instead...

anyway, there is a software to detect the DNS-323 called EasySearch. Can download from Dlink website, it also comes with the DNS-323 in the form of a CD.

There must be a DHCP server first, to assign an IP address to the DNS-323, and most routers has that capability. So yes, if your router has DHCP server function and its enabled, just connect the DNS-323 to the router and then run the EasySearch software and thats it.

Yep im using the Linksys WRT54G router that with DHCP settings. So does that mean that every pc needs to run that cd to search for the dns in order to use it? And once search, does it map automactically so that once restart it will still be there.

yes, you have to run it on all PC to map the drive, unless you know the actual command to do it.

Alrite. I believe its quite straight forward in terms of getting the basic setup done huh. When you first got it, would you say its a plug and play device?

cannot ask me this kind of question... to me... everything can easily be done, if people read the user manual.

unfortunately, not many people reads it... of course I am not saying you lah... just that I see too many of these people in my line of work liao

a thing to note..

last time us dollar exchange rate was around sgd1.35 vs usd1 and the lowest price was around $199 (do not include hot buy)

now the exchange rage is around sgd1.5 vs usd1

so may have to set expectations right if the price remains $209 for the next few shows

cos previous show saw alot of people ranting that $209 is expensive..

afterall, this is a specialised product and not a commodity and comparing with nas with other brands, $259 to $209 is considered afffordable already

With fw1.06, should not be a problem with PS3 but there is a bug with the latest fw. Please refer to my thread above.
