lets say i have a dns343/323, and one day it went toast, could i just get the same model to replaced the toast dns and still have my data intact?
anyone here has setup ddns for clutch and able to login to clutch from work? tried searching on the net for a tutorial but can't find any.
power adaptor could be faulty?Juz got a set from a bro here, but having prob in getting the set to stay booted.
Firmware: 1.06 -> reflashed back to 1.05
HDD: 1 x Samsung 500gb
Prob:
- 1) With drive installed, when power button pressed-> drive boots up but boots down immediately. Unable to maintain uptime beyond 5mins. Noticed power adaptor led flickering before the set boots down. And when power brick led is flickering the set led is totally out (no power observed). Only when the power brick led stopped flickering and showed a constant green would the set start its booting process (though this would be only for a short while before the flickering starts again and the set power goes out again). Could it be due to a faulty power brick (the power brick was juz replaced by previous owner). Even when booted up (before powering down again), drive is not visible in system settings.
2) Without drive installed, set able to boot up (though it would also occasionally reboot also when the power brick led flicker), but uptime is longer (~ 2 hours constistently).
Solution: Anyone with any ideas how to continue with the troubleshooting?
yes, have been using ddns and transmission.
ddns should not interfere clutch in anyway since it is tied to your wan ip. you have to forward the port to your nas's local ip.
