I'll say try to find a better working environment for the time being. It's best not to get into depression and burnout while hopefully, you still have some fight within you.

I guess Im not that capable afterall. Capable ppl hardly struggle

actually some do struggle. It's just that they don't show it, are able to present a confident front, which in turn inspires confidence in their team -- if team members see superior panic, they will also panic, and that affects results. superiors see you confident and can deliver results, they will also be more relaxed and not feel worried too.

i know some say this is fake it till you make it. maybe, maybe, but so long as you get results without burn out, and you do improve (make it), all is good.

think of a swan. moving serenly, but what you don't see under the surface, paddling furiously.

If after many years still cannot find means what? Or just have to admit whole life just mediocre? Actually being mediocre is ok but I think I'm not even one.

Maybe you need to look within yourself , like what is holding you back ? Remove those bad traits one at a time. Things should improve.

People say I'm doing ok n progressing. But I think I'm terrible. The more people praise me good job or say wow this is amazing the more I feel terrible. Many say I want too much and am too critical to myself. But idk recently the self loathing is getting worse.

It’s really not that difficult. I believe there’s a job or industry for everyone. Any underperformance are usually a mismatch in personality capability or whatever you call. As long as one performs to their best of abilities in the right industry . I believe they can do well

When Im studying I find it hard to believe there are ppl not cut out to study.. cz I can do well..
Enter workforce then I realise I not cut out to work sia..

Yeah no matter hw hard I try no matter what I do.. still not doing well no matter whr I go.

2. Is it capabilities? Some people are just talented and have chance to shine and really deliver what they promised.

3. Is it just the whole job market/economy not doing well? So everyone are jaded and tired of just being a worker to enrich bosses.

4. Just behkan, stop complaining and admit you are nobody.

How do y'all navigate work and do y'all find work tough?

I never enjoy working no matter which job, from the bottom of my heart I hate the idea we need to be at work just to exchange money and be nothing but a 牛马

But for survival, just have to deal with it yet is been 10 years I'm nowhere near promising and I feel ashamed of myself.

Also, honestly seems like doing well and promoting is really not as easy? Most people around me are also just doing average. (Maybe caz you are who you mix with, so I no chance mingle with people who are doing extremely well since I belong to behkan)

What y'all think?

People who are doing poorly will not tell others including you. So treat everything with a pinch of salt. What is posted online is all a highlight reel.

Is been 5 months, no one in the dept actually even ask me out for lunch. Everyone here is just in their own clique own world. Everything here is KPI KPI KPI, yet I'm trying so hard but I just dk how and I really need help. I'm just nothing but a machine to produce. No one cares how I feel, how I'm coping. And I thought people who are helpful now seems to me just trying to fuyan and drawing big picture for me only. Everything is bad. 1 shxt hole after another. Idk how long I can take it. I have not have a good job for a long time, 1 offer is getting bad to worse. And this is the 3rd. I really don't think I can take it anymore. Each time I'm trying to get better things just keep happening. I really regret for staying alive 2 years ago and that lp gas didn't explode.

But honestly sounds like a listening ear/therapy would help. And a less pressure cooker job. At the end of the day it's just a job - leave the stress at the door

Sounds like u r living life. As u r pondering answers to questions that baffles u. I think u keep searching for answers and u will eventually find urself... But in the process have faith and always choose GOOD over EVIL.

Is just hard. I'm not the only one feeling this way. There is no proper onboarding or helping newbie to come together. I do still have lunch buddy which are my batch mates but depending on time sometimes we will meet to eat.

But generally people here are close off and I'm quite sure everyone is jaded af.

It is natural to have this questions. Some call it mid life crisis.

I would think continue to work hard and also smart. A good job is not easy to get and there is some luck involved. But don't give up learning and keep applying for jobs.

There are many ppl more unfortunate than us.

The bureaucracy, the politics, the deep waters, the traps everywhere. On top of that money sucks. If all possible always apply private only when there is no job and you need to survive choose cs unless you white horse or scholar.
