Donation based FA TA seminar/workshop

Based on the simple set of 8 pages of notes I did up in a single night for a session with my friends...


The last time I did this... I thought will take 1.5hours.. end up took 3 hours of me non-stop talking and showing charts... with 1-2 toilet breaks in between

Wow! 3 hours seems a little rushed for so much content unless it is touching the general definition or surface of it. Which will leave most people going away without learning much of anything.

I think you need to stretch it to a full day

I will be interested. however normally i only go for courses which are less than $100. Duno if it is within your donation aim or not as currently i am just trying to acquire knowledge.

you can skip the FA portion as FA is typically subjective and the most basic form in the manner of financial statement analysis already takes me a total of 18 hours in face to face lectures for part time schedule in my uni.

FA is the one that most people don't understand unless they are in accounts or finance.
The friends I thought were from IT based... so the seemingly old concepts are actually new to them.

And need to "show off" my bread n butter abit mah lol

FA ish also important, i think FA should be given more weightage than TA

combine TA+FA ish the best. Both say buy, then can buy. If 1 never say buy, dont buy.

yea u ish accountant + auditor. Financials should be finger tipped.

unlike those chao engineer ppl, got no sense of Financials at all. need to spoon feed them

yes,bery true
everyone just want hot tips. But tell them to research themselves, all lazy to even pick up the financial statements. All prefer to list to analyst calls. Last time i also listen to these analysts till kanna analyst by them

Me too. I am thinking of organising more investment workshops at my tuition centre too. We have conducted only once this year for our JC students.

Eh.. ask you .. is it easy to open one and be profitable?

I thinking whether i can rent a shop space and hire tutors to run the lessons.
