Eufy is under Anker. As far as I know, buying stuff from UK is $$$$! The two links appear to be the same, the battery version. I have pointed out earlier that this dual cam doorbell has a wired version. I don’t think the battery one comes with wired unlike Arlo or Google latest video doorbells. If you go for wired version, you will need a transformer/adapter.

Battery only version

Wired only version

I haven’t find the perfect video doorbell. So can’t recommend any electrician. Read that some electricians refused to do the job because of transformer/adapter. Don’t understand why.

If me, I will go with wired setup. Why? Once the electrician setup the wiring and if the video doorbell get bust, I just replace it another one with similar power specs. Replacing batteries is a hassle and I don’t want to draw neighbours’ attention.
Makes sense, thanks so much for your reply! Yeah I've been having that issue in general all electrician don't know how to install video doorbell.. Even though their website portfolio states otherwise..

Anyone else that has lobang/contacts who can help install the Eufy video doorbell dual please let me know, thanks in advance!!

You need an AC power point. And buy the correct transformer for the video doorbell will do. The output of the transformer has 2 wires to connect to the 2 terminals on the doorbell

No need of electrician

hehe I also bought the same but haven't installed as still waiting for my new place to hand over.

do share if you do find a lobang!

I believe mine should have the bell point as it's a fairly new flat.

I bought from Amazon US as there was a discount then

Just found out that the Eufy Video Doorbell Dual battery version also comes with wired connection. I knew about this doorbell at its launch awhile back and a wired version was in the works. So confused.

I think the wiring is simple. Find the HDB BTO doorbell wire at its end and hook up with the transformer adapter. Follow by hooking the video doorbell outside. Then turn on the adapter and hope everything works.

Ohh thank you, yeah will give it a try and if really cannot then try to find electrician... But now waiting for Amazon to ship out they've been quite slow

Shipping usually a week. Maybe change now. I haven’t ordered from US for awhile. Honestly, I’m still confused with the eufy dual camera doorbell specs. Here’s what I envisioned for wiring up any U.S. video doorbell. Any electrician here thinks that it’s wrong, let me know.

Your transformer is located on the inside wall next to your main door, right?

Then punch a hole through the wall and hook the transformer's 2 wires directly to the video doorbell will do.

No need the 2 wires connecting from the video doorbell to the transformer's 2 wires

Unfortunately, I do not have a power socket near the door. The nearest is in the bomb shelter and after that the kitchen. A previous electrician who came to fix my circuit breaker box also suggested punching a hole too. I do not want too much noise because attract flies. So my drawing can work right? :s13:
Use an extension cord. Connect the transformer wires to the doorbell and plug the transformer into the extension cord.

Anyone tried the Xiaomi Smart Doorbell 3? Xiaomi Singapore started selling recently.

Some reviews from export sets that were sold by other sellers mentioned that only can use China server, so was wondering if the local set has local Singapore server?

I manage to grab from Lazada official mi store at 100bucks. Confirm global unit and working in Singapore server. Last time I use to have the china version but is super laggy. Now is about 5 seconds delay notification and real time video not laggy. Is good addition to mi home.

Thanks. I see the that the China listings (which are cheaper) and the Xiaomi Singapore listing are both listed as model MJML06-FJ. The packaging looks the same too (just with the additional EIN [Era International Network] distributor sticker). Does the local sets have some additional software configuration or something so that it works on Singapore server?
