Currently using a Ring Doorbell, the one that fits via the peephole.

Recently bought a Google Nest Hub then realised that Ring does not play with Google.

I did look at Nest Doorbell, the battery version but read that their battery life is only like 1-2 weeks.

As such, does anyone knows any digital door viewer that is compatible with Google Home?

anyone using xiaomi smart doorbell and any reviews on the recording and storage and playback?

https://www.mi.com/sg/product/xiaomi-smart-doorbell-3/specs
I just bought one and installed it. So far so good, can see quite clearly also.

Can even view live video when i'm outside, don't need a hub. But your router need to be nearer to it if not it can't connect to the wifi.

Privacy issue I not so sure. But since it's only taking video of outside my house, I am fine with it.

In the google ecosystem -

The Nest Doorbell when activated chimes Google assistants, and displays will auto bring up the video feed of the door/gate.

The * next best * bet is a Google Nest Cam but you need to call up google to display the video feed e.g " Hey Google Show me the door " etc etc ..

I use a Nest Doorbell and also fix a Nest Cam by the gate.

Not aware of any digital doorbell that can integrate this way into Google Ecosystem.

Hi. I looking for a doorbell with live feed function. My idea is to place a screen at kitchen (my minister specifically wants it in kitchen) so that when pple press the doorbell, the screen kitchen can display video. If can display at phone it's a bonus, if not it's okie too.
I realize sg market all the doorbell with screen , that screen is directly placed behind the door. Abit defeat the purpose , I might as well directly open the door lol.

Any recommendations? I don't mind buying online.

Google Nest doorbell -> e.g. Google Nest Hub ( my old Lenovo google smart display displays as well when someone hits the doorbell )

Amazon ecosystem should be comparable. No experience with that.

There are likely other alternative options. Remember to check for video latency if there is a need to communicate with person at the door, too long latency hard to have a conversation.

Hi, any recommendations for outdoor video doorbell? My 70 year old parents spend most of their time on the 2nd floor of their house. Thinking of getting them a video doorbell so they won't have to keep walking up and down whenever someone is at the gate.

Yes they live in an old terrace house so the doorbell will be exposed to weather conditions, unless I install some "shelter" or partial cover for it.

I don't think these 'smart doorbells' are able to withstand weather conditions. Commercial ones won't be cheap.

Are they tech savvy as in with phone apps etc?

can consider

or any battery operated video doorbell with this kinda cover

Even better, source for electronic lock too then no need manually head down to open gate
