that will depend on the conditions at your house. Typically every year on average.

Never, I always clean the filter with wet cloth and dry before keeping.

Used it for about 4-5 mins in my house corridor (it's a corner unit, 2-units every level). Its crazy loud, can hear neighbours upstairs all closing their front doors But damn, there's no better way to get dust out of my radiator (except running under the tap!).

The ED500ESD is more suited for cleaning exposed circuit boards and computers.
