Newbie Troubleshooting

Hi. I am very new to this so pardon any ignorant questions.

I recently bought a RM Pro + and using Alexa with SONOS.
From the IHC app, I am able to control the TV, aircon (by setting it to TV) and fan (RF).

Although I did install the broadlink skill in Alexa, I'm not able to control these devices via voice.
Alexa will reply that these devices are not responding.

May I find out if there is any setting that I'm missing out? I tried to install and un-install many times but still unsuccessful.

Try using the scene feature in IHC app

I m able to pair all my IR and RF remotes. In alexa all IR devices are okay, but I cannot find RF devices in Alexa app!

Hmm...I am also same. My rm pro n mini 3 can control both my ir aircon and fan on ihc app. The device and scene can be seen in Alexa apps but voice control always say device not responding. You got a solution yet?

RM Pro+ (IHC) and Livolo Switches

Hi,

This topic has been discussed earlier, I read thru all the posts in the thread but did not see a solution to it.

I have difficulty getting the IHC to learn the Livolo remote frequency. I added a new User Define device on IHC, place the rmt02/04 very close to the RM Pro, press the remote button persistently, but the IHC app just would not read the freq of the Livolo remote control.

I know some users have success using the e-control frequency scan method, but is hoping there is a trick to get Livolo to work with IHC as well.

Will appreciate any advice. Thanks in advance.

PS. IHC has been updated to the latest. RM pro is working with my other 433Mhz devices (except for Livolo switches)

Woohoo! The sweep frequency works in e-control! But how to bring that to ihc? I am getting excited now.

Hi both, you both using RM PRO+ ? not sure cld it be bcos of that.... im using the RM PRO3 with livolo switch + livolo remote, have no issue learning the buttons on remote via IHC ''tv template'' .

Is your fanco fan on rf? My samaire on rf but remote control after removing batteries do not see the rf click buttons.

im having FANCO iCon model ceiling fan and RM PRO3, no issue, able to learn the fan remote .

Hi all,

since im using Amazon Alexa, need some advice on google assistant (Home or Mini).

Anybody using Google-Assistant to control your RF/IR stuffs via RM PRO ? able to work ?

For Amazon Alexa, to work with RM PRO,
1) must use the RM plugin
2) use IHc but learn all as ''tv template''

just wonder does google assistant have any constraint too ??

hey guys, any users of yoogee switch here? may i know which app is used to control them and are they compatible with alexa/google home? the tb listing shows them as wifi switches but no mention at all of any app.

I am on Google Home. Current list of bugs / limitations
1) Scene is working or IR devices (e.g Aircon)
2) Scene is not working for RF devices like TC2 (I do not have other RF devices to test)
3) IR Devices like Aircon (without using scene) is working too

Seems like this problems have been there since the beginning of the month and until now there is still no solution from Google or Broadlink to resolve the issues.

Hi guys i seriously need help with my rm.

I have 3 currently all unable to setup.

When i add wifi it start from blinking fast till not blinking at all.

At first i tot i have a faulty unit so i bought 2 mre, after that same ting happen to both my rm pro + and rm mini.

Please help T.T

Hi can i check on RM pluging.
If i want to do a task, say "Window blind up/ down"
It seem like after using rm pluging, i can only say "turn on window blind up" instead Echo can capture as "window blind up" ?

How do i config to command window blind up instead of "turn on" window blind up or turn on window blind down" ??

Need some help.

My Yoogee 3-gang suddenly stopped working over RF. It can be switched on and off locally. But I can’t pair it to RM Pro e-Control app via the “Add Remote”

The pairing always fail on my phone app.
The strange thing is I could pair my 1 and 2 gang without issues. It’s only the 3 gang one.

I tried both iOS and Android apps. Both can’t pair the 3 gang. I redownload the app, restart RM Pro still cannot pair successfully.

Only 1 and 2 gang can pair.

The next strange thing is... the 3 gang can be paired to the 15button remote control and not on the phone app. So I’m quite sure the switch is not broken.

Not sure what else can be done.

Any advise?

Who's using RM Pro with Livolo rf switches and able to make them work consistently? I can learn the commands from the remote, but it never works consistently. Sometimes it works, but more often than not it takes repeated tries to turn on a switch. The Broadlink TC switches were lot more consistent in this aspect.

I am very pissed off. I am using E-control and IHC app. It was working fine until i install Rm pluging. Now my Echo cannot detect my devices, all my routine cant work. I tried to switch off my plugin, but its the same.

I suspect, RM plugin reconfig my echo to read only from the tasker/pluging. Thus it no longer read directly from IHC app. Can anyone teach me how to revert back/undo back the old setting ?

Strange..I use both but I have no issues. RF devices via RM Plugin, wifi devices directly from IHC.
