Hi mand1015,

understand FUNRY brand switches are supported by broadlink's e-Control app, therefore you should go to the e-Control app, choose 3rd party switch, and the brand FUNRY, select the respective gang switch and try to pair it.

Another way is using uploaded switch templates by other users, go to e-Control, ''add remote'' , at that page, on top-right corner you see the 'search' magnifying glass, click on it, type 'Funry' and you will see alot of funry templates.

So for example, to simplified things, 1-gang funry switch, so u download a 1-gang funry template. in the e-control app, you will see the on/off button.....
hold ur physical 1-gang switch till u hear a beep.... den u click on the on/off button in ur e-Control funry template, by right the RF signal fires out shld be captured by the physical switch and it will learn that ''that's'' the on/off button.

you can now try press the e-Control on/off button to see it ur physical funry switch is operating, if yes, then you have successfully paired it. Repeat these method to other 2-gang,3-gang switches....

Assumption: funry switch RF remote pairing is the same as most other switches. :s22:

if it doesnt work, you may consider getting funry physical remotes to do the pairing to the switches.

I have tried the 3rd party switch in the E-control app. What i did was, select funry 3rd party 2 gang remote, hold switch until 1 click, (Not sure if i should hold 1 or both switches) then click PAIR while holding the RM pro about 1 feet away from the front of switch. After trying a few times, i managed to pair 1 switch, but only the "ON" button will work for both on and off functions.

Thanks for the tips, i will go back and try it the different templates. Do you know at which point will the signal from my switch be fired? or for how long after i hear the one click and release my finger? because usually when i release finger, nothing happens. Should i be clicking the switch again for it to learn?

Broadlink RM Pro using radio-freq of 433mhz/315mhz, so u must check ur digital lock whether it comes wit RF remote control on 433mhz or 315mhz, if yes, probably u can use it wit RM Pro too.

the remote RC-100 seems to be using 447mhz. in this case i guess shouldn't be compatible?

Third party wall switch with RM Pro +

Hi all, would like to check with those using non-Broadlink brand switches like Livolo or Yoogee ... can share what are you using ... does it pair and operate well ... would you recommend it to others? Can we allocate a "All On" and "All Off" selection in the app? Especially 2 way switches.
Thanks in advance.

Hi, im using livolo switches... Pairing with rm pro via physical rmt-04 remote is easy. But take note livolo switches are toggle on/off, so the on or off is via same button.

Mine are all 1-way switches. so far operating well with no issue if using broadlink's app control.

Thanks much shacboi ... this would steer me away from Livolo if it's a standard as I need a different cmd for On and Off. :)
... hope to hear from Yoogee switch owners ...

I do not mind TC2 but they dnt have 2 way switch which is really convenient for my folks at home.

Hi @shacboi
Most of the remotes don’t work on my FUNRY switches. Then I found this YouTube video in Thai and used the guy’s remote (goes by the user ID guagsak) This time everything worked perfectly.
The problem with the other remotes is that during the pairing or learning part, the red light on my rm pro goes on, I fire the switch to the config mode (which I assume is after 1 beep) and then NOTHING happens.
With this Thai remote, I fire the switch to on/off first, and then click the remote’s on/off button (no need to hold and click learn)
Do u have any idea why the difference? And would u know of any better remotes compatible with the funry switches? Preferably in English? Haha
Do u also happen to have any solution of how to pair the switches with IHC instead of e-control app? Seems like Alexa only detects smart devices on my IHC app.

actually now the ceiling fan and air con controllers etc are all able to switch on similar unit. The RM Pro is able to identify which unit you want to turn on/ off?

I could not link the RM PRO+ with IHC app on iPhone. The app just searches and eventually timeout. The strange thing is e-control app can find the RM Pro+, what's the problem?

Hi mand1015, unfortunately i don't know why you encounter the mentioned issues. by right the remotes shouldnt be any differences, i saw FUNRY have its on remote too, you may want to try that ?

as for your other questions, don't think i can help you with it as i do not have FUNRY and not sure the way it operates.

As for Alexa question, you can use RM plugin with e-Control...... or just IHC app but all 'tv templates' to get it to work with alexa.

Not sure has this been ask before. I used econtrol app to control livolo switch (RF)and Kdk fan(IR) for one year plus. Just last week bought Google home mini and downloaded IHC app to utilize voice command.

In order to let IHC detect my rm pro, I reset the rm pro. Try to pair many times but keeps encounter device not found and eventually timeout. Finally able to pair after numerous try.

Now the main problem is I cannot use econtrol app as it state my device has been reset and unable to perform the task I setup in econtrol app(turning on switch etc). Is it we can only use either 1 of the apps and not both?

I need to use econtrol app as I got set a scheduled timer to turn on the light for my kids room at certain time. I try setting timer in IHC but seems like it doesn't work, either the timezone is mixed up or what.

Anyone have setup timer to turn on device in IHC can advise how to do it? I don't mean scene setup. Thanks in advance

Hey leongws, been using RMPro+ for 2 weeks now. I am on Android OS and do all the settings in econtrol app. When I open the IHC app, I can see all the settings there. There is a cloud backup function in econtrol, do u use that? I suspect the IHC draws the info from the backup.

For Google Home (and mini), I believe you have to set up the appliance as a lamp. Its a bummer and very restrictive. Just got an Echot dot ... trying stuff out tomorrow.

I'm using IOS devices. I know about cloud backup and have use it in econtrol app. After install IHC, I need to setup everything as my econtrol settings are not forwarded to IHC. That is OK for me as I just need to relearn all the switch control which I had successfully done. Voice command through Google home also working.

Problem is my econtrol app still show my settings but not able to use as I reset my rm pro in order to add it to IHC(pairing mode). So wondering anyone able to use both app concurrently cause if I were to add rm pro back to econtrol app, I will need to reset it so that it enters pairing mode and may break the connection to IHC

I finally got IHC to link up with RM PRO+, have to use the barcode on the box to scan or reset into AP mode for IHC to detect.

However another new problem occurred. When I add a TV (any TV), it prompts please turn off the TV by physical remote, and keep looping "Loading ...%" forever looping. Anyone know how to solve this problem?

Hi mand1015, can share the name of the Thai remote or maybe the youtube link? I couldn't find that from guagsak's youtube.
