Did you create any scenes in IHC (e.g. turn on light A) or you are asking Google home to directly turn on/off specific lights by their default name?

I created specific scene for every light and customise Google home command to activate each scene instead of directly using Google command to activate each lights directly. It's more stable I feel.
Hope you understand what I mean.

Yes, I did followed ur way as u taught as previous post.

Here's what I did
Pair my key with user define template
ON and Off profile.
Then I create a scene " Turn On Light A"
by inserting the On button.

I spoke to GHM turn on Light A, it said it looks like those lightz haven't been set up yet. Keep on repeating this.

Next, I tried to name the scene call "Amazon". Then I spoke to it said turn on Amazon, it replied me activating the Amazon. Sometimes the light turn on, but many times nothing happen at all.

So I very frustrated why my GHM responsive so weak, I don't know what's wrong with my steps. I have follow all the steps.

Set customize command in GH to activate the various scenes. I will customize command to like "turn on the entrance light" to activate the scene to turn on that particular light.

Avoid using GH default command to activate scene directly or having a customised command too similar to GH default command.

Your GH is confused and think that you are activating a default command and is looking for the light call A in your google-linked account. I'm guessing in your IHC you named your light as something else? Anyway I feel Google home default command is very unreliable.

No, I simply change the scene name in IHC "Turn on Light A"

Automatically u can see Turn on Light A device appeared in GH app under home control category.

Alright, I will try to do what u said customize a scene name in GH and try.

If you want to control scene directly I think you need to say in the default format "hey Google, activate turn on light A".

Please try and update us!

Thank Bro,
Yes in order to use default command.
U need to say activate "Turn on Light A"
Unless u rename the device name to a specific name eg "Lamp ABC" without add turning on this kind of keyword infront.
Then it will automatically read ur idea, it responded activating Lamp ABC

Bro, I have followed your instruction step by step.
Customize GH routine command " Turn on TV Light" by using the scene i created in IHC.
The efficiency of this method is much better than using the lamp template in IHC.

But unfortunately, sometimes i have to speak the second or third time "Turn on TV light" then my light will only turn on. I did also set "say something" so that i can know is GHM reading my instruction correctly.
But I keep repeating this voice command ON/OFF without give a break la, don't know will influence or not
It's not 100%, success rate maybe 70-80%.

How about your other light / scenes? Success rate should be very close to 100% if everything is set up properly.
I had one light which was unreliable as well, I had to restart from scratch, delete the light on IHC, relearn the RF and it is working better now.

Try putting plural for your device/scene name, ie kitchen lights instead of kitchen light. Google assistant response better to plural.

Does anyone have a solution to this?

I've had similar problems with some of my TC2 3-gang switches since day 1... installed about 3 weeks ago. They randomly turn off, go into reset mode and start flashing all the lights for a few seconds. After that, the touch panel is unresponsive for about a minute, before it resumes normal function.

Google home switch control works only half the time, which i can tolerate... but when the physical switch is also wonky, it's driving me nuts!

Almost feel like going back to traditional switches

Your TC2 are the old 2018 TC2s. There are a few batches of TC2 in 2018 that has issues. All Online sellers are trying to clear those stock. You should instead get the 2019 TC2s from your local authorised broadlink stores. Also, going forward, take note that some parallel imported broadlink products may not work in your country due to incompatible firmware/server.

Hi all sifu,
I'm news to this google home & etouch switches.
I have read through all the instructions page by page.
But apparently i'm having some issues with google home.

I have paired etouch switch with my etouch rf remote control.
Here's my steps,
1. Go inside IHC apps and select rm pro and choose lamp template.
2. I pair my RF remote Key 1 for ON and Key 2 for off
3. I tested both keys in IHC app and it works perfectly.
4. I linked my IHC account to google home.
5. The lamp device is appear on my google home.

My main issue is I spoke to google home mini, ask it turn on the light.
Sometimes it said not available at the moment and nothing happen. The lamp shows not responded in google home app all the time but sometime when i press ON button the light turn on.

I spoke maybe 10 times and worked 3 times other than that it told me not available at the moment and nothing happen to my lamp same to the google home app.
May i know what's the problem? Any solution ?
Try typing out on your Google assistant to see if that works for you. Sometimes it's the speech recognition not being able to decipher your diction.

I haven't try other light yet.
Maybe today will setup all and see.
But the TV light I set up yesterday, success rate not 100%.
I don't know what's the problem.
I told GHM to turn on the TV light, and it responded what I want it to say to me which mean it read my message clearly but I spoke 4-5times to turn on yet got respond. Don't know why.

Seems like the problem is with your rm pro or IHC.. maybe reset your RM Pro? Isit near your router? The strength of the WiFi is good?

Yes it seems to me like it’s a network issue. I have two access point at home and I had issues initially because of the different SSID. Had to reconfigure everything before it ran smoothly.

Hi all.. I have been reading and it seems that we now have the option to use etouch switch with a different frequency to turn off/on the light switch.

My question is, if I change all my current switch from livolo to etouch, can I use the same livolo remote to pair? Or need to have their own brand remote?

Any RF remote control will do.
