For pairing eTouch with RF remote

(If at anytime when you press and hold the e-touch but it doesn’t go into learning mode with red lights blinking, turn off your main circuit box and turn it back on after 10 sec.)

Press and hold the eTouch touch-button until you see two red blink at the switch itself (top left) then let go. Immediately on the remote press one button ie button 1 “on” one time and let go. You’ve basically just taught eTouch how to react to “On”

Press and hold the eTouch touch-button until you see three red blinks at the switch itself (top left) then let go. Immediately on the remote press one button ie button 2 “off” one time and let go. You’ve just taught the eTouch how to react to “Off”

1 red blink = Toggles on and off in either state (not necessary to learn this)
2 red blinks = Toggle On Only
3 red blinks = Toggle Off Only
4 red blinks = Reset

To reset any paired buttons/keys on eTouch, press and hold the gang you want to reset until you see 4 red blinks, then let go and within 1 second press and hold until you see another red blink and let go again. This will reset the gang so that you can pair other remotes with it if necessary.

Above shared from desireeeee when she used to sell eTouch.

Can you control fan speeds with RM-Pro via google home? Or only simple on/off? I'm debating whether to buy a Bond unit for controlling fans, but I don't know if it will work properly with KDK fans.

You can control anything as long as it's controllable by the default IR remote or RF remote (correct frequency)

Does it get identified as a fan when you add via Google home? I'm confused why some posts here people add the fan as a light.

Only the lamp template in broadlink is stable to work with Google home. So you need to configure using the lamp template regardless what electronic you are controlling (eg Aircon, fan, plugs & etc).

I use red, green, blue in lamp template for fan speed fast, mid & slow to control my ceiling fan.

It doesn't matter what template you use as normally we customize Google assistant command to activate the respective command to broadlink.

You can configure like this, give the name of Lamp as KDK,same as bro here, I configure red as speed low ,green as speed medium, green as speed high, if you have more then 3 speed, you can other colour to configure the speed and then in GH, you can give command turn kdk on/off, set kdk speed low, medium, high, it work well for my KDK infrared remote control ceiling fan for passed few months

Adding your ir/rf fan under "Light" appliances is because these is no Google home integration within IHC apps for "fan" appliances. Alexa may work though.

Only adding your fan under lights appliances will you able to get Google home to work.

I wonder if Bond is worth the extra money if my fans already are RF units. https://bondhome.io/

Hi All,
Since quite a number of Broadlink TC2 switches reported failure here.
Which wall switch you guys recommend?
Thanks!:)

I had my TC2 switches working without any issue.
Perfect. The IHC software works in every way that I had it configured.

or my remote signal is weak ? (but i direct use remote on/off smart switch no problem)

Ok... First, I am using ihc for eu app.

2nd, what's the switch you using? Tc2 or other brand?
I just checked my app. Tc2 got Google home integration,i am using it now. Works fine when I tell it to turn on my kitchen lights. Brands other than broadlink tc2 only got Alexa support I check (someone double confirm this?)
Hee
Regards to difficulties in learning, yup.. I got the same problem too.. very hard to get it to learn my unknown brand 3rd party RF ceiling lights/fan combo.

I got to try like 20 over times to successfully get it to learn. Like hit and miss like that.. probably due to interference in RF waves I don't know.

Heard broadlink is gonna come out an new app soon.
