Looks like no one is keen to carpool for outskirt Taichung. Any idea how to take public transport from Taichung to zhong she hua hai, gaomei wetland, and rainbow village? Any other must go places in Taichung itself (accessible by mrt)?

I havent been to these places but from my past research. These places are rather far from city center (taichung main station). So for public trnasport have to take TRA to the nearest station then taxi or bus. Taichung has no mrt but the public bus is free for first 10km.

Taichung is 2 hours bus journey from taipei.
Leofoo village is 1h+ away

Hahaha the last time round when I went 合歡山, it was snowing. Cingjing was running 0 degrees and my stay at Starry Villa nearly killed me
