R u considering 7th and 8th for outskirt tai chung?
Cuz we have bought hsr to chiayi and heading to alisan on 5-6th.

Oh that's cool. I was thinking to go alishan initially but worried that it might be difficult to manage to travel on own. If u do not mind, could i join u guys to alishan and outskirt Taichung too (fyi, i'm a gal)? I've booked a accommodation near Fengjia area but i think i could change the dates.

Hope to hear from u soon so that i could make my hotel reservation in Taipei. Many thanks! :)

Travelling from 5/1 to 13/1.
5/1 - 9/1 -> Have to be in Taipei
10/1 to 13/1 -> Taichung or Hualien or Kaohsiung?

Dilemma... :sad:

Sure...we are travelling up to Alisan on 6 Jan.

So i guess we only need 8Jan one day cab for ourskirt tai chung?

We are a couple travelling together :)

anyone knows if we could book the TRA and bus tickets from Chiayi HSR to alishan in advance? i understand we need to travel from Chiayi HSR - Chiayi TRA - Fengchihu - Shizhao - Alishan.

i'm bringing luggage not backpack. Is it easy to bring luggage up to Alishan or should i book the accommodation in Fengchihu?

Pls advise.

can but u need some online info.....

u must book accom cos at night very cold unless u r returning on the same day(EG...morning go, evening come back)
