What is the meaning of E application ?

E-app is the process to apply for an EC. HDB will do an initial qualification of the applicants and issue an eApp no.
There will be further checks and qualification by HDB after you have booked a unit.

I thought EC just go there pay deposit and choose a unit.
Now need to have eApp no. then only can choose unit and pay down payment ?

as ECs usually have very good response, the developers will often conduct a balloting for all interested buyers. thus, interested folks will have to submit e-applications first and after that wait for a ballot/queue number. the idea is somewhat similar to a hdb BTO balloting. hope this clarifies.

1) You still need to do (some) renovation, including installation lights, ceiling fans.

2) Usually fridge and washing machine not provided.

3) What is typically provided:

* Wardrobes (Built-in)
* Kitchen Cabinets plus sink, conventional oven, cooking hob
* Air Conditioning system to Living, Dining, Bedrooms
* Toilets are done up
* Tiling / Laminated flooring
