Could be due to the weather? Or during that time, you are in light sleep mode thus more sensitive to your skin itch..

I also have eczema on joints. It is hard to control as it can ignite depending on mood / event . Anyways whatever I use sometimes after a Long time they no longer work on me . Whatever work on others may or may not work on me :
1 unity orange coal tar soap - drying but effective ( ironic)
2 whenever itch , quickly wash with soap
3 use soaps that do not leave residue
4 use moisturiser that do not feel sticky / have feeling
5 marks and spencer heavily scented round body butter - very scented but works immediately

My neck usually itches when I keep perspiring due to hot weather like this. Otherwise, it doesn't give much problems. Arm always itches, no difference regardless of weather.

Nope, but it's true that some feel the itch more at night. If you do a search on "eczema itch night", you should be able to find some articles on that.

Miraculously I recovered, I tried every single method that I can try except for prednisolone. I went TCM, acupuncture, too packs and packs of bitter medicine, smear lots of moisturiser, uses steroid, uses suu balm to control the itch (it works!) uses suubalm shower gel, took MLM products. I’ve made quite a good progress, not 100% back to what I was previously but it is so much more comfortable now, no scratching. But my skin is dry and sometimes it will still be flaky and also the skin color is uneven. I am in this state for at least 4 months now, I hope it will only get better..

I don’t know what made me recover this much but hang in there guys! I know it’s not easy especially after going through it personally myself, many respect for those with eczema and is still working hard in their job or in life with a permanent distraction of itching throughout. If you really want to know what tcm I went to do pm me and I will share it with you, I hope a real cure can be found soon!
