The only place I have been to in Morley is Conventry Village for all the Asian groceries! :s13:

I normally eat around the CBD/Northbridge/East Victoria Park because I live in the CBD.

I honestly think it will go back down in the next few years once mining collapses in WA, and when the inevitable recession hits.
Mining is set to get hit next year. Iron ore potentially dropping to 60-70usd by 2026.

That's why the big players are letting ppl go in recent months

Sounds like SG is a better fit for you. MRT station everywhere. Everywhere malls. Go downstairs got mall already.
Lots of shops to eat. Coffee shop, Hawker centre. Fast food. Restaurants. Malls. Food courts.

What about price of food. Need to be affordable or not? Perth food probably more expensive I think?

Where I am now in Melbourne has all that requirement, the last time when living in Perth/Kardinya, it was 5mins drive to the shops, 10mins to the train station

Affordability was never a concern.

Sounds like Melbourne has all the plus convenience of Singapore and the nicer weather as well?

Thumbs up!

Following the destruction of the AMA thread, this thread shall attempt to be the subsequent congregation of fellow EDMW S'poreans who have left to start anew in Straya.

General chit-chat or perhaps I may use this thread for my personal journey

Of course, We pay our respect to their Elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today. Gone but never forgotten. Thank you @fishbuff

Yup.

How is that not bad? That is terrible.

Given that alot of the hot money in the Perthian property market is from cashed-up mining FIFO workers, I think this would definitely cool the market down.

It's quite crazy how lax the police are about drug abuse. Like when you watch those police television shows where they pull over drunk drivers, there were several episodes when they caught a few drivers positive for Meth (via RBT) and they just let them go and give them a date in court to attend.

I would move back to Perth IF i can i can find a place

Perth CBD would be the place for you.

Actually now it is about the skills that you have. If you are young but unskilled or not having the skillsets wanted by the government, you would have a slim chance of getting a PR visa. In regards to rich people, since they have more or less scrapped the investor's visa, being rich no longer helps as well.

Yup.

Depends how empty the road is and what speed everyone is driving.

130kmh is quite normal for me.

Sometimes even go up to 150kmh.

Few people actually drive at speed limit 110kmh

20kmh above limit usually police don't bother also.

Ya, agree. Prepared by Hong Kong migrants with proper skill sets.

Just like other cuisines in Australia, most prepared by skilled migrants. Sg is erm, as long as any one wants to work in f&b, can join f&b.
Even northbridge hargor tastes different and way better than local ones. The prawn are bigger and fresher.

Is it true one outside meal cost min aud20 in Perth now?

Ya, around this price. A normal brekkie can be high 10 though.
