Hey Lycans!
My female puppy neutering op is next wednesday but she started bleeding a little. Can go ahead with the op? It has higher risk right?
How to take care of her while she's having her menses? Just normal right?

you can call and ask, if the surgeon/vet on the spot thinks cannot, then will not go ahead with the procedure

still got to fast your baby :(

I assume you mean bleeding from the vagina? It means she is coming into heat. Depend on the skill of the surgeon, can still go ahead lah but the surgery is tougher compared to a dog that is not in heat. I personally prefer to wait till she finish her cycle first before doing the surgery. However blood from the genitalia region can also mean other things like bladder infection, kidney disease, etc but I highly doubt it

Dogs dont have menses, dont really need to do anything except get lots of paper towel to wipe the dribbling gunk that will be coming out of the vagina.

PS: How old is ur dog?

About 10 months old. Kinda scared. Put a baby diaper on her, the next moment she somehow got out of it

I called in the noon, the person say it's okay. Then to bring her on Wednesday to see if can go ahead with the op.
No food is very tough on her. She gets super excited, finish it super fast. And salivates all over :s22:

vet and many veterans told me not to let them drink til 6am but I feel sad when they keep running around to find water to drink :(

Usually after her first heat then go for sterilization op; more clean that way.

Dog dead after groomer left it in car boot and told owner it was stolen

Hi, my dog has passed away.

"I have attached a screenshot of a staff member from the groomer conveniently lying through her teeth that someone saw the dog being stolen when it was being locked in the boot of their car the whole time.

"The first vet I brought my dog to said it was suffering from heat stroke as temperatures rose to as high as 40 degrees Celsius.

"The bleeding was caused by a burst vessel. Its liver and kidneys stopped functioning too.

"AVA is currently doing an official post-mortem."

less than 200, after your 3 shots, then yearly.
Dog you feel is sick then bring.

is a heavy big responsibility, you think twice before having one.

not only money, also takes up a lot of your time in exchange for unlimited love :o
