Question for pros please.

Can I ask for typical Singapore Mahjong rules, are you allowed to "pong" a set of tiles from the second person who throws it, before it passes you?

I.e. you are number 1 player. Player 2 throws a tile that you can pong but you don't. Player 3 now throws the same tile. Can you pong that tile?

Appreciate advice!

My house play cannot.
Is like you got something against player 2 or purposely want let player 3 draw tile like that.

Like that is bo swee.

Buying a automatic mahjong table

I will like to ask if anyone can recommend any good seller in SG that sells automatic mahjong tables.

Should i choose roller coaster or elevation? What are the pros and cons?

As I dont play that much only twice a week only so would appreciate if you guys can provide some kind advice

auto mj table is those every wk got few ppl play one, normally they are used in competitions

and you need to set the number of tiles it accept.

it dont accept any kind of tile, only magnetic tile

auto mj table comes with 2 set of tiles with diff color, so that one set of tiles wash, you press a button another set pops up

normally the tiles from china one no animal no flower

you can accept?

yah and sichuan is do 缺一门 (no 1 suit, means u can have max 2 suits in your hand)

血战到底 xuè zhàn dào dǐ so when one player goes out the three remaining carry on. Then when the next player goes out the two remaining fight it out.

depending on the house rules all of the above will vary.

if u dont ask the above , and u 犯错， some will give u 丑一 (next time u do it again counted as 错胡）, some count as 错胡 straightaway (see how close u and your fren willing to give u 2nd chance or not)

Too strict lah, for ur 2nd statement.

But you're not the only person that I know can't anyhow call for pong/hu, its just that at the level that I'm playing, we're not too strict on it.

Thanks for the heads up. Went down to the shop and checked. Their biggest size is A1 (37mm tall). But auntie quite nice, said will check and order for me from HK if they do have anything bigger.

Got a new android app 新加坡麻将 in the playstore.

Tested it last night. Not too bad. Got 1 or 2 bugs when calculating the tiles. Otherwise, this is the only SG version that is playable.

Those without android phone can use bluestack to play on PC.
