Your passport need to be stamped in Thailand at least once in order to use the egate with that stamped passport.

The digital arrival card still need fill in regardless egate or manual counter.

Can I check the previous stamp on the passport must be from a visit to Thailand prior to using the e-gate or just another stamp from any countries which I have visited before?

Juz go to the egate area show them your SG passport than move to the right priority lane for the stamping of passport.

Or you can join the long long normal q.

The immigration hall on the left at bkk airport seems to have added more egates. However the staff die die dun let you join the thai passport queue. Must go the hall on the right. Although the staff will ask, but just say Singapore passport, scan, and will let you thru.

More egates also useless just put for show if Thai dont increase the nationalites. Even sg and hk also bo bao can use if the one managing the queue ususally the intern dont let you go in.

To go thru egate seems so racist when u look back and see the rest in the long queue. Imagine u clear Suvarnabhumi faster than u clear Changi....

This is especially so when you include luggage arrival time. Not sure what the deal is with Changi. Ultra long luggage retrieval time. I even once got notification from my Changi app that there is an extra delay.

So far from my last 3 arrivals at bkk airport, the staffs located at the immigration hall on the right side didn't stop me or insist of looking at thailand passport. Have 1 instance where the staff as if I'm thai, i just say from singapore scan passport he let me thru.

However on the left immigration hall, every visits got different pattern. On my arrival 2 days ago, the entrance of the thai passport queue they left enough space for 1 person to go thru, easier for them to check the passport 1 by 1.
