Not advisable to turn off auto recharge via CC. It acts as a back up in case you forget to top up in Main Balance.

Anyway, eight will deduct from Main Balance first, failing which then will deduct from CC
Thanks bro for explaining, will keep it on then.

It depends on how competent the user is and how much they want to monitor.

If they want everything to be on auto-pilot, just set it on auto-recharge and put in CC details, end of story. You'll only need to update your CC details from time to time when it expires.

If they want some control, then set it on auto-recharge and use Shopee retailers to top up to main balance periodically (or 13 months as the case may be).

If they want full control, turn off auto-recharge and top up to main balance manually as and when required.

If it's their main line, they won't let it go dormant because they'll notice immediately when they have no data.

For me I always turn off auto-recharge and manually top-up as and when required, using Google Calendar reminders. I like to have full control and know what's going on. But that's just me.

hanor, should pin this, else everyone keep asking the same question
For me the correct answer is always YMMV. Everyone's daily travel habits are different, so different telcos will work for different people. Also don't forget that the phone is another factor which we cannot discount. There are so many different brands and models out there. And people use different kind of phone covers and protectors, some of them protect the signal from reaching your phone!

If one MVNO doesn't work for you, feel free to port out!

The only agreement is that SIMBA SUCKS!!! :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

When I was with GOMO, i signed up SIMBA as my back-up line in case GOMO did not work.
So... after I sign-up Simba, on the way home, GOMO not working in EW tunnel. Simba also not working lah :s13: :s13: :s13:
But I am keeping SIMBA coz
1. Roaming perks
2. I wanna keep the number. I bought golden number, $28 but i paid off the penalty liao just in case I wanna port out.
3. Eight still cannot receive international sms.

no, top up $8,000,000 will only get $8

this is not CDA account where govt will give you a dollar-to-dollar match top-up

  • If I top up more than $8, will I be able to get more than $8 free credit?
Each mobile number is entitled for 1 redemption of $8 free credit.

Don't turn off Auto Recharge coz it won't deduct at all, neither wallet nor card. My line expired coz I was waiting for Mr Auto and he didn't arrive so my line expired.

Common sense isn't... common. :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
I was gonna suggest he tries then let us know

How long were you waiting? There is a 60-day grace period after the plan ends. You exceeded that?
