I only know I'm having a senior headache reading some of these questions, and just after visiting their FB page too. o_O

Someone whose posts that took a bit longer to understand even told 8 to "improve on ur proper english". :unsure:
haha.. happens to any thread.. not only HWZ, a lot of reliance on asking rather than being self-resourceful. IRL it is easier to ask a question than look for one.

Particularly i.e some FB page admins who don't like HWZ and spy for information and provide it to their members. It is a cyber world ... always evolving ..

Does anyone know why porting out from eight failed? Received this message from Vivifi:”Your number port request has been rejected by your current service provider. Please contact them for further details.” Emailed eight but it has been a week…

What is the reason for the port out failure? Vivifi should be able to tell you.

Port out from Eight failure can be due to several reasons. Don't think anyone here can give you an answer especially not knowing your circumstances.

In fact, porting failure has a string of possibilities.

Sorry, a bit more info about this case. I signed up on July 8th for the free plan at eight. Attempted to port over to Vivifi a week ago.

Vivifi told me the port out failure can be due to either wrong ID or commercial terms (which I emailed to eight). I’m doubting the wrong ID portion since eight’s side uses facial recognition and I do not get to key in any details at all while Vivifi uses Singpass.

I’ve also successfully ported over from Myrepublic into eight with no issue.

hmm, is your free eight plan still working before you initiate the port out to Vivifi?

Maybe you can consider go ubi service centre and check with them

Thank you for your service sir, one less user soon and us eight users have less congestion.

I ported from Vivifi 4G, four failed port overs attempts because Vivifi system down. Not sure yours is eight or Vivifi problem so good luck.

But how do you know if the ignorance is wilful?

short version: you know when you see it.

slightly longer version: one example is asking repeated questions that are answered in the last post before they asked ie when you see their question, and you see it answered in the previous posting......
