Just collected my SIM earlier this afternoon. My current telco signal gone already. I think port in done? Eight have 4g signal but can't access internet? Anyone knows why...

Porting still in progress.

Go zzz, check again in the morning. By about 9 or so all should be good to go. Maybe earlier.

When you port in during a promo period, do expect some delay.

Not always, but can happen.

I can receive SMS from eight for the code to log in app using my old telco number. Able to get 4g signal. But 4g can't seem to use. Going sleep now hopefully tomorrow can use data. If not really BBQ le

Saw on FB (many entertaining posts there ) someone port-in 2 days before promo started. When Eight confirmed that only those who port in Saturday onwards will get the credit, that person replied that's unfair.

If you're CSO just or....?

If register for port in on 24 October but waiting for Sim card . If Sim card arrives on 1 Nov and then activate on 1 Nov. Does that consider within promotional period or doesn't qualify ?

Ported in last night from Maxx base plan

In the end, the warning from ah bengz shop warning say cannot port from maxx base plan to eight is invalid.

The shops I went to port to eight, all tell me that maxx base plan cannot port to eight. They ask me to top up an add-on, 3 weeks later than port.

I refuse and insist say my line in active and not suspended. I will take the risk. And I'm right, It got ported without issues

I also ported successfully from M1 Maxx (base plan only) without issue.

My retailer did not warn that cannot.

It will be cut off. No extra charges.
If you want to carry on with data or voice, you need to buy their add-ons on the portal before using it.
