On the eight app I have $18 free credit. So next month bill cycle they will deduct from my credit yea?

I tried to top up they gave me two options to recharge... $8 and $18. Means if I chose the $8 and recharge my plan auto changes to the $8 plan?

Anyone tested? Tia

Current plan is $8, recharge to $18, change of plan is immediate.
If change from $18 to $8, change will be next bill cycle?

not oversea call sg ( 2 different equation)
this is also found on the next pointer of faq on my above reply

unless they treat idd differently
otherwise idd is similar to the olden day

idd code only works when u call from singapore to oversea by using idd prefix to get discounted rate if you have use it before in the olden days

thus base on faq and the olden day idd prefix, u cant mix singapore to oversea idd as the reverse way ( 2 way traffic), when its a 1 way traffic only
IDD is always grey area .. asking CSO direct may give more correct details!

What happens to those free $0 for 88 days plan if u don’t recharge or topup? After6” days auto terminate or will still keep rolling and be charged pro rated when recharging after say 3-4 months ?
So far my 2x free SIMs still can receive OTP for login even after the grace period of 60 days. So let's see how long I can hold them :cool:. You may visit their service centre for immediate termination though.

I think they do not charge pro-rated because their cycle is every 30days. I believe it will restart a new cycle upon recharge from inactive mode.

Does roaming covers calls and SMS?
  • Our plans do include 288mins roaming calls back to Singapore and at the destination you roam at!
Does this mean if I have roaming subscription, I can also call a China phone number, while I am in China?

What about a Malaysia phone number? Also part of roaming?

I will be signing up tomorrow.

If I go to retailer to sign up, I just pay them $8, tell them my mobile number and current service provider, show ID, and they give me the physical SIM card on the spot?

Need to do simi SingPass stuff or not?

Since 1 person can sign up 10 lines, is there any difference if I sign up two lines (one for me, one for my mom) under my name/ID VS I sign up one for myself, my mom sign up one for herself?

Not sure how Eight app account works. I will be the one paying for the two lines so thinking maybe can just log in to one account to track the bills.

No, you just sign up twice on website, but each time use same credit card.

accounts have to be individually managed
