2 weeks ago i port from M1 max to eight in 1 day leh
4PM activated
11PM M1 max cut off

mine still waiting. coming to 2d for m1 port in

Eight has the shittiest customer support. Ask them about A , they answer B. They even change my plan to auto recharge without my login

Do i have to use for a month before i can port out?

No need to wait for one month, just that no prorated refund when you port out

I appreciate Eight for its low monthly fee, paid less than $5 this cycle through Shopee (got a $3 voucher). Now, I’m roaming in Japan, calls in/out & OTP all can.

I have not encountered any congestion on 8 yet.

If traffic jammed is real at a later date. Zymmy is on my next jump list.

Someone asked few days back this question whether if able to call sg from Malaysia using IDD.

But seriously cannot call back to sg with both my hp when in msia the local operator blocked volte voice roaming

Malaysia is now one of the APAC countries blocking the roaming service?

Not happy with the congestion. Just jump to another MVNO! So simple now!

Prices are also not much of a difference within the same tier of plan.

Some already top up until Christmas 2025.
Not everyone like you can teleport.

Japan where? more rural areas also ok? Think Jp only Rakuten and KDDI

does this mean i can keep my spare phone number for 90 days for just $8, since i can dont pay after the 30 days plan and be in grace period, then port out within the 60 days grace period?

but then again you cant use the number after your plan expiry - no data, call etc. Not sure if you can receive bank otp though

I can answer this, my plan has just ended, I cannot receive calls nor use data anymore, but I can receive incoming sms. So receiving bank otp via sms should be ok.
