Contacted Giga and found there were 9 numbers registered under my NRIC, but I had never registered with Giga. Don't know how others can do so without my physical NRIC or my SingPass.

Giga claimed that all the 9 numbers had been inactive for a while and shouldn't be counted. Still investigating...

Make statutory declaration first then send them a copy. Protect your interest if your memory is correct .
Starhub mvno not only giga and 8. Still have LW 5G and i think 2 more?

have used it in Shenzhen and Guangzhou, its still better compared to having buy the local card and your vpn on 24/7 draining your battery like mad.

The port-in promo (2 mths free) is port-in from other telcos.

I port-in from heya (28 March - friday evening). Around 2am (Sat 29 March), my eight line (with the heya number) is working well.

right now.. i am seeking query for new sign up......cos few weeks ago.. i saw it was free 1 mth for new sign up on their website.. not sure if it was tied to the IT show in mid Mar.

I've tried using Eight, Simba and Shopee bought data eSim recently in Yunan (Kunming, Dali, Li Jiang, Shangri-La) and GuangDong (Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Huizhou).

My experience as below:
1. Eight is connected to China Mobile 中国移动 (China Mobile is the No. 1 best Telco)
2. Simba is connected to China Telcom 中国电信 (China Telcom is No. 3 best Telco) **No.2 is China Unicom 中国联通
3. Shopee Data eSim is connected to China Mobile also.

Eight has no problem staying connected everywhere and speed is pretty good.
Simba has some signal lost in Shangri-La and speed is slower than Eight in general. Of cos, not a very big difference in city areas.

Althought both Eight and Shopee esim were connected to the same network Telco, I find Eight is much much better.
Some china apps (luckin especially) when using shopee eSim tends to lag or cannot load. When I switched to Eight, everything just works fine. Tried a few times and it seems to be the same.

Both my friend and I were using Eight + Shopee esim and our experiences were the same, so we conclude Eight seemed to have "priority" over the same network and apps work better. It may be more obvious when scanning QR code to order food at restaurants and eateries.

  The plan deduction will be based on wallet balance first and then the payment methods (Credit/ Debit) card that you added into the account. Login to eight account.
