My bad......I forgot $11.88 includes indo and Thai as well. Yes indo is 488gb.

I was using $8 plan and indonesia was not included. 😅
I'm also on $8 plan and didn't even know anything else sharing other than MY. Want to go then change plan bah. :s13:

So in summary.......Eight works great but my usage applications are screwing up.
My main mobile is Samsung s23 and I tested using iPhone 13 pro max to verify Eight network remains the issues in few selected areas.
But why M1 and Starhub direct telco works perfect in scenario where Eight failed? Many scenario i request tether sharing and I could immediately connect to my game and applications with no issues?
If you're observing a fast speed test but slow loading of particular sites (could be more than one) then you've got some selective network routing issues. That could be Eight's problem, or it could be a problem with some peer or hosting site (perhaps "blacklisting" the IP address you're associated with at that particular time and place). This can happen with any Internet Service Provider (ISP), and it may or may not be Eight's fault. You can report the site(s) to Eight (along with locations and times) and see if they can do anything about it.
I don't have a VPN account though so can't do the technical troubleshooting.
There are free VPN options such as TunnelBear, WindScribe, and ProtonVPN. Their free tiers may limit which countries' servers you can use as exit points onto the public Internet, and they may also set data caps. But for basic troubleshooting they're helpful because they "force" different routing, and your device appears to other sites as having another IP address.
On usability, can't be M1/starhub (direct telco not muvo) works flawlessly but my Eight choked.
If that's your experience, that's your experience. I'm providing some basic advice how to troubleshoot the issues you're observing if you'd like to do so. But if you prefer to switch carriers, and if that works, great!

Anyone face same port out issue?
I port in to Zym from Eight but failed.
ZYM email below and been trying to reach out to Eight by email (3 days already) no response or acknowledgement.

Eight has no customer service no to call.
Their whatsapp chat is useless and keep response with same msg every time.

We are writing to inform you that your number port-in request for xxxx is rejected by your donor telco, Eight. The specific given reason for the rejection is "Line is Prepaid".

If you wish to continue with the port-in, we kindly request that you contact Eight directly to update the line status. Once the line status is updated, please let us know and we will be able to reinitiate the port-in request again.

Important Note: If the Eight line is a prepaid number, please inform Eight to convert it to a postpaid service before we can port in the line. (Prepaid numbers cannot be ported in.)

That's weird, shouldn't Eight be only postpaid? Not aware of any prepaid plan offers from Eight.

I found this post from last year, and wonder if that could be the cause. Choosing one over the other? Just a wild shot.

Anyway, I'd suggest visiting one of their service centres with your ID and have them check if everything is in order.

Thanks for the suggestions. Will give a try with the free VPN options to see how it works. 🙏🏻

I have same issue when porting zym to eight. My line stucked in the air lol. Eight said my nric doesn't match and zym rejected the porting request.i ask zym provide proof of nric. I ss my conversion with zym and show eight that my nric to eight is correct and valid. But eight still said mismatch due to rejection from zym. In the end ding dong many rounds eight mobile said their side issue and will resolve it. Horrible experience when porting to eight

When in doubt, IMDA is here to save the day

Something went wrong somewhere, you can't check so just complain to IMDA
