using this with 4g speed can stream 4k youtube videos?
from google gemini

To stream 4K content, you generally need a minimum internet speed of 25 Mbps, but higher speeds like 50 Mbps are recommended for a smoother experience, especially if multiple devices are streaming simultaneously. While 25 Mbps is a common recommendation, some platforms like Netflix and YouTube suggest this as a minimum for 4K, and some services might even require more for higher quality streams.

Subscribed to the $11.80 plan and put the sim card in a sim card router. Happy with it so far, think gonna drop my fibre broadband subscription.

Possible to bring the router and Eight Sim card to Msia (example) and enable roaming? Would be handy to buy a credit card sized 4g router and use the roaming data feature when overseas.

I think should be possible unless the overseas roaming partner telco block hotspot tethering?

The said credit card sized router because Malaysia has 5G for roaming, check out ZTE F50.

Otherwise other wingles that use USB A for power are just CAT4 and the speeds will make you wait till paint dry.

One point of concern is I'm not sure if the internal menu has roaming switch to turn on or not, since phones has that option to turn on and off roaming.
That could possibly not make roaming an option, much less if the telco enable hotspot or not.

Does this have band lock in the menu?

Bought NX510v after I read a review online for both and been extremely satisfied ever since.

Attached 2x external antennas, don't know if got actual gain but holy heck does it look satki standing there.

Attach a pic for you when I get the chance. Haha.

Is deco x50 the only tp link model to have the SIM card model?
TP link
AX3000
NX510v (even has a telephone port)
Deco X50 5G
Deco X50 4G

AX1800
Archer NX200
Deco X20 4G

D-Link also has a few
Better to stick to these since it has local warranty.

I messed with others unlocked and outside region CPE's as well and came to the conclusion, spend one time good one better than trying to save some and then get bitten down the road.

A small tip:

You do not need to use the given 3 pin power plug for them: get a PD to AC 5.5x2.5mm cable, and even a powerbank will power this baby up.

12V2A max, hence any port output above 24W will serve this fine.
I have however managed to power up CPE with a 18w powerbank via USB C port. It's not power hungry at all, this thing.

So now my 65w wall charger powers my NX510v via USB C, and one of the USB A is connected to a router cooler placed below it.

Midvalley Southkey MyCelcomDigi can get 80mbps-100mbps. If connect to Maxis it shows as 5G but only 2mbps. LUL.

The smartness in your smartphone has decided to ditch you 🤣

On a serious note, I just follow the steps 123 and voila, can just log in via faceID
Simply user problem lah :s13:

There are no passkeys saved in Passwords for "account.eight.com.sg".

How do I go from there? :s34:

Edit: I'll go figure it out when I've more time. 👌
