Think you can try on your phone first and see the speed. If can attain 800-1000kbps should be fine.

M1 and StarHub have a joint venture that operates a combined 5G network. Mobile tower locations and spectrum are shared. The respective carriers may manage subscriber priorities differently, and they still maintain separate 4G networks (which you mentioned). There can still be some differences, even on 5G.

SIMBA also operates a 5G network in Singapore.

I think Simba only have the 5G NSA whereas Singtel Starhub M1 using 5G SA.
After Simba merge with M1 in future I think Simba become better

Probably due to shared 5G w StarHub. In that case the merger might be of limited value then.

Hope the public opinions will stop the merger. If the authority needs public opinions, it means they are not sure whether it is good to approve the merger...

I use Eight mainly when across the bridge. 5G or not doesn’t matter. And I definitely won’t pay $6.80 more just for 5G.

It's someone's field observation this past July. But why would it be surprising if SIMBA lit up a bit of 5G SA? Mobile carriers frequently run trials and tests. And they occasionally make mistakes.

...And do many people care? "5G SA" on a phone display doesn't give most people org*sms.
