Usually have to wait till next day afternoon
That, to me is very late already.

I'd normally expect a delay of max 2 hours, otherwise I'd ping already. Or during promo period I'd probably give up to 5 hours.

If I place an order in the morning or early afternoon and have to wait till the next day... I might just go find another seller unless the offer is really good, like worth the wait.

But ya, I hardly use their service coz I prefer faster ones. :o

u guys need to manage ur expectations with shopee sellers.
they got a full time job to do at their hp shop, not scrolling to check new orders every second...
as long as they haven't process, means u can cancel if u really can't wait.

if u want instant within an hour, why not topup directly at Eight.com.sg? Right?!

i don't even bother to chase them, they have until tomorrow EOD to process, otherwise i will just cancel and get back my coins. your $$$ ain't going anywhere too. Shopee's holding escrow for you until the job's done!

+1 haha .. makes alot of sense .. Shopee sellers are just resellers, they are not obligated to reply instantly

I have two numbers and topped up one at full price with ladyboxx. It was instant, and I got 500 Shopee coins.

The next minute, I topped up the other number with the Shopee coins and discount coupons. Initially, they replied and then started to ignore me. I think they did not want to fulfil this deal.

What makes me dulan was that there was a reply instantly but subsequently ignored me. Think it was because the shop saw that I used special huge 11/11 discounts and lots of Shopee coins.

I admit that I am a cheapskate.

However, if they cannot fulfil Shopee discounts, then don't offer like other resellers. It makes more of a hassle for them and customers to go through the refund process.

I have done quite some testing of Maxx 5G S$10 plan and Eight 4G S$8 plan, while keeping my main SingTel SIM Only S$15.28 plan.

For local usage, from my testing of the three lines I have now.

From top to bottom.
1) Singtel S$15.28 plan
2) M1 Maxx S$10 plan
3) Eight S$8 4G plan

In the end, you pay what you get. 一分钱一分货。

However, I got Eight 4G plan and Maxx 5G plan for two reasons.

1) For testing of M1 5G/4G and StarHub 4G network. BTW I will use StarHub (Star) Prepaid S plan to test out StarHub 5G. That is one reason why I did not go with Eight 5G. The other reason is that Eight 5G is not that cheap at S$14.8 per month, especially true for a backup line.

2) For roaming usage in China. I will test Maxx and Eight roaming with my upcoming short trip to China mid-December 2025.

I also plan to get SIMBA S$12 plan to test out China roaming as well.

Only Eight and SIMBA offer free voice roaming in China so they have an advantage over Maxx and SingTel MVNOs in this aspect.
