No wonder I saw a post about Eight promo from what I knew previously to be a redONE retailer.

I knew about redONE in Malaysia well before I saw them here...

Its more likely a case of too small user based and port service back to starhub mvno instead

the parent China Unicom is many times the size of starhub,
their target market is the sizable tiong community in SG, so maybe won't toh

I guessed that RedONE will be gONE next. Now that it has happened.

I think next to be gone will be MyRepublic. Their strategy will be putting all their brands together under eight, let MyRepublic focus on home Internet.

redONE Mobile isn't technically ending all service yet. Here's one of their FAQs:

What if I choose not to switch to eight?
Your redONE Mobile service will stay active for now. We recommend making the switch to eight as soon as possible to avoid service disruption on redONE Mobile.

Also, while there are "special" offers to move to Eight, redONE subscribers are not required to do so. They can switch to any MNO or MVNO they wish. (The "special" offers might not be so special, in fact.)

Not yet but soon.

Same as previous case like Changi Mobile. It will take them a bit of time to wind down the operation.

Their only USP is the one SIM 2 numbers feature, which is basically glorified SMS forwarding from a mainland mobile number to an SG one.

Seems like there’s a new $28 plan coming soon according to redone’s site.

688GB main data, 54GB APAC (unknown group A)

The $38 plan seems to be identical to the $28, probably has more group A entitlement.

Not sure if they are exclusive to ex redone users
