Hopefully their customer service level will be up again after the takeover.
Damn jialat lately, probably busy with this exercise.
Looks like cut headcount too, email either not replying or couldn't make sense.
Service centre/s more reliable for once.
To be fair, most only require to email or look for CS when first port in or later port out. Else most of the time, no need to email them at all.Hopefully their customer service level will be up again after the takeover.

cool. to be fair, this 'free upsize', the only useful one is the APAC roaming data plus adding of new countries to the APAC countries list.

i visited bangkok recently for 4 days 3 nites, i used the 10GB (APAC) + 2GB (Intl) roaming data during the trip. I left 0GB (APAC) + 1GB (Intl) after returning. Considered more than enough. no need to buy any additional eSIM etc. to cover. Now they include TH, ID, HK into the list that can utilise the free local data of 528GB which is welcome also. Technically no data limit at those countries now as well.
other than that, the rest of 'free upsize' is actually useless (this is why they bother to 'upsize for free').
e.g. talktime - no one calls nowadays, in fact, they label as 'unlimited' talktime in the ad that shows the changes in free upsize, but in real, it also has fair use policy that limits to 3000 mins only also. the word 'unlimited' is misused here.
now again i regretted not to top up more $88 that time.

Eight has
updated their roaming partner list
. China has indeed changed. Instead of China Mobile as Eight’s sole roaming partner it’s now two roaming partners: China Unicom and China Telecom. Do you see any other changes (versus
their January list
)?
FWIW SIMBA currently has one roaming partner in China: China Telecom.
China local SIM will locked access to overseas social apps services due to GFW restrictions. Only way is to use a VPN to access those apps services.curious if we get a China local Sim can we still get access to
