Any idea if this is the same for Singtel hi? :)

1) Yes for SingTel hi! PostPaid plans.

2) SingTel hi! Prepaid plans are different. And your wallet balance can really be gone if you are not careful. But then it is also more flexible -- you can choose to not top up monthly (S$3 IDD add-on can extend the validity by 180 days).

3) BTW, now Singtel Prepaid hi! S$15 monthly plan has the same perks as Sib SingTel hi! Postpaid S$13/S$15 5G plan. Both are said to be managed by SingTel Prepaid Team.

4) Take note SingTel hi! PostPaid plans do not support roaming voice call. eight offers free roaming voice call.

Hi I've a Eight number on monthly plan. Can I just buy the yearly plan via Shopee (got voucher) and enter the code into the Eight app? Do I need for my currently plan to expire 1st? Thanks.

  • I have existing plans (e.g., monthly plans) stacked in my account. What happens if I purchase a 1-Year Plan?

If you are on $8.00 monthly plan (or stacked) and choose to upgrade to $1-Year $11.80 Plan or 1-Year $18.00 Plan, this will be considered a plan upgrade and you will immediately get to enjoy the upgraded entitlements!
If you are on $11.80 monthly plan (or stacked) and choose to upgrade to 1-Year $18.00 Plan, this will be considered a plan upgrade and you will immediately get to enjoy the entitlements! If you choose 1-Year $8 plan, it will only start after all the $11.80 monthly plan ends.
If you are on $18.00 monthly plan (or stacked) and choose to purchase $1-Year $11.80 Plan or 1-Year $18.00 Plan, it will only start after all the $18 monthly plan ends.
If you are thinking to get the same plan but yearly, it will be likely treated as plan stacking which means after the current cycle, your plan would be "converted" to the yearly one. Maye check with them to confirm first as their examples are more about the upgrade / downgrade price or plan wise but dosen't cover the same plan

Do take note that credit that you have cannot be used to pay for the yearly plan

You can follow the instructions on redone website. Think can use app convert also

https://redonemobile.com.sg/

If you can't port to the cheaper $8 on your current best10 plan, maybe head down to the stores

No issue access eight portal, can also login. All done using eight mobile data.

Maybe try airplane mode a few times to hopefully get new IP allocated to you

u port over via redone, u enjoy free 1 month.

Anyway, after the switchover, u can change to any eight plan.

Can I sign up for a different plan on eight?

Definitely! Once you’ve switched to eight, you can easily manage and swap your plan through eight’s app at any time.
