There are 3-4 staffs helping to top up. After top up then make payment at the counter to collect ice cream voucher and lucky draw chance. Took me 40 mins in total.

i went on friday afternoon around between 12pm to 1pm. no ppl. i was third in the queue, less than 5 mins my turn and completed the top up and left for lucky draw and left already.

i believe my case should be save for the 'limited' bonus credits for this event?

1) if top up $84 in one go is equivalent to top up 3 x $28 to enjoy the 1 for 1 promo?

2) if there is limited bonus credits for this promo? is it per day? or whole 4 days limit? or is it individual store limit?

Thanks for sharing. Just to add on, my line also ported in successfully after 1 night from yesterday evening. Should have top-up directly there and then when i was at the shop, and not go with the concern they raised. Now have to make another trip to the shop.

..indeed, I was contemplating whether to top up during port-in....so decided to take risk and just top up $28 to try out their service. Luckily everything went smoothly with the app showing $28 credited to the account. Now waiting for them to credit the free $28 and 2 month free service.

Yea, by the way the T&C is written, top up should be 3x $28. Not 1x 84.

Eight should let this slide though as the top up is done by their authorised personnel. Not by the customer. Else they'll have many angry customers who are spoilt for choice.

If you read the line specifically

A valid and successful top-up transaction is defined as a minimum of $28 top-up amount.

Those that topped up $84 one shot are entitled to one bonus of $28, as the terms only specify a minimum.

The remaining $56 bonus is in eight's court. I think they will honor it, as the backlash from not would be insufferable.

But agree with you, customers should insist on 2/3x $28 instead of one shot to protect their own interests.

The queue today is quite long, moderately waiting time, abt 45min. It doesnt matter whether $28x3 or $84 to enjoy 1-4-1. The lucky draw is cutlery set, the free ice cream is better.
