Seems like the banner on eight site has been updated

- Local data upsize for non 18SGD plan to start at 528GB or 628GB depending on tier
- Now all plans have the same SG MY ID TH HK local data bundle, with HK being new addition
- Added 20 countires (APAC 20) for 5G plans
- Added unlimited (capped at 3000 ) voice minutes

Double eight plan has one main discrepancy.

Oh, nice for noticing this as well.

Now they have 2 APAC categories
- https://www.eight.com.sg/mobile/roaming

Asia Pacific (APAC) Roaming
Asia Pacific (APAC) Roaming – 20 countries

And good to finally have japan included in the 14.80 plan instead of just the 18 plan previously

Yes. APAC 20 countries now includes Japan and also South Korea, China, Australia, New Zealand etc.

But there are quite a lot of countries which don't really need to be in APAC imo. Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, Macau, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Timor Leste. Why are these countries even in there lol.

Does that means Australia can be used both in APAC and in International Roaming?

That's right. You can use both APAC 20 countries and International roaming for Australia.

Take note. Only the 5G plans have the APAC 20 countries roaming. 4G plans have only APAC 8 countries and Australia is not included.
