Upgrade is immediate, maybe just time it to 2-3 days before renewal. Depending on how much you want to make use of existing entitlements...
Upgrade is classified as going up the cost ladder.
So if you are on 14.80 plan, going 18 plan is upgrade and going to any other plan is downgrade

- Log in to your eight account > Click on Recharge > Select your plan upgrade
- Or visit any eight retailer
Once the upgrade is activated, your current plan will be immediately terminated and replaced with the new one.
Please note that plan upgrades are billed in full and we are unable to reverse transactions for terminated or stacked plans, nor can we reinstate previously held plans.
