i was there 2 weeks ago i am unable to pay using touch and go .. they even advise me to use the wifi provided. Anyway wont go again .. small and nothing to shop .. lol
car park is ex also comparing to even mid valley southkey, not worth it to go. It is at most a lifestyle mall that can fulfil some basic daily needs for residents nearby but it is not a mall that one will revisit if not necessary.

in Bolehland confirm cannot send sms to even Bolehland local no while roaming. But most ppl do not need SMS so this is not a big issue.

but certainly no issue activating iMessage during over roaming even on roaming network.

Now its purpose is to serve the guests staying at Sheraton Hotel and the nearby residences, once RTS starts operation then more people will flock over as it's the nearest mall.

Update: I asked my friend who is using eight in Jaybee to test as well. This are his speedtest results under maxis data roaming.

So technically can prove that there is a speed cap.

Wi-Fi calling is messy for Singapore telecom providers.

Reference:
https://forums.hardwarezone.com.sg/...ly-plans-in-singapore.7167328/#post-157730027

Basically SIMBA seems to be the only one which may be more consistent in this aspect based on the reports.
1) ST MVNOs: no support of VoWiFi at all, even in Singapore
2) ST: only in Singapore
3) M1 and M1 Maxx: only in Singapore
4) StarHub: only in Singapore
5) SIMBA: works when roaming
6) eight: may or may not work when roaming.
7) dual SIM phones may have some issues on one of the SIMs even if both SIMs support VoWiFi.

And for eight and SIMBA, even when VoWiFi may work during roaming, no confirmation that outgoing SMS is possible or not. Hopefully someone can confirm.
If VoWifi works, it behaves like locally connected, and is not subjected to roaming.
So outgoing SMS should work, and I have tested that successfully with Simba.
Eight's wifi calling didn't work at all this round (not even over Simba roaming), so my guess is that the last time it work was a bug or IP that wasn't flagged correctly.

Tell HR to change your seat for fung shui reasons :ROFLMAO:

But your seat location in the office might be a factor, such as wooden doors, heavy wood furniture partitions, thick glass window in a high-rise office, even building structural columns... I done radio heat mappings before, these little things can absorb/kill your radio signals

Actually, when you are deep indoors or away from windows, your mobile coverage comes from the building's internal antenna system. Many buildings run their own In-Building mobile coverage systems, which are typically shared by the three major telcos (Singtel, StarHub, and M1).

Some buildings manage their indoor mobile coverage using a Common Antenna System (CAS). This approach prevents the ceiling from becoming cluttered with too many individual telco base stations. It also gives building management better control over maintenance work, as they don't need to constantly seek permission from the individual telcos to access the equipment.

When this is the case, switching between these telcos won't make a difference because they all use the exact same infrastructure. Simba might help if they have installed their own separate indoor coverage system in that specific building. However, if Simba is also tapping into the shared building system, your reception will likely be just the same.

From my experience, CAS is usually only implemented in newer buildings or those that have been upgraded.
Based on my last engagement with building management to resolve a coverage issue that have CAS, CAS does not include SIMBA.

Just getting a coverage issue fixed by StarHub can already take many months, even with IMDA involvement and escalation to StarHub senior management.
Their outsource installation guys can fix in a rapid manner but not with StarHub internal issue.
There were also instances where their site engineer provided inaccurate updates through building management contacts.

Given that, getting SIMBA integrated would likely be an even more challenging and lengthy process be it CAS or NON CAS.
