I was at Toa Payoh weekend and saw the $8 banner during collection date. It was a long queue and I skip it. Not sure whether $8 plan availability now

Saw a ah beng shop have the eight banner with the $8 and $18 plan. Wonder if they have started selling it. I never go ask

I think it's out. I was at the CEE Booth collecting my SIM Cards last week. I noticed on the table there was a clipboard with A4 paper, with a list of handwritten eight numbers on one column, next column payment mode (Cash, NETS or Bank Transfer) and the last column states $8 or $18. Granted, I was there on the first day of CEE evening, so there's only about 5 to 7 rows of numbers with mostly $8, I think I saw a number with $18. I can only think of two possibilities.

1) There are people actually who skipped the 88 days free trial and buy the $8 or $18 plan straight;

2) These people top up into their free trial wallet first, after 88 days free trial has passed, the shop will trigger the respective plans based on their payment.

1) is possible. When I was collecting my free SIM, the customer next to me wanted one $8 and one free.
Probably paying $8 now to use the international roaming, not just 1GB APAC.

Thing is they don't have recurring credit card deduction facility yet. So no loss if you paid $8 for the first month and decide not to transfer money or pay at the shop at the second month. The line will just terminate I suppose.

that's good. There will be people who wanted the paid plans. the 1GB international (58 countries) roaming is a welcome ontop of 8GB APAC data roaming. Comes with 288mins IDD too

Can sign for paid plans now, only at the shop.
Some issues that are stopping me from doing so:
1. No app to track usage.
2. No port in service yet
3. I have SG data on my existing line. If I pay for the plan, it is mainly for roaming. Got free option, use it to test reliability first before paying.
4. Every month I've to find the shop to pay to renew the plan until the app comes out

$2 cheaper, and + 8GB APAC roaming, 1GB global... (no concern with local data)
