I opt for e-sim...

then I log in MYACCOUNT using my temp. no...

there's no sign of the other $0 sims inside...

strange
So you've already received the QR code for the port-in line, and added it to your phone? And it's working? If so, should work with one or the other number...

I emailed them yesterday on one of my free SIM card termination. Till now still haven’t replied, not sure they are overwhelmed or I miss out something in the email
Overwhelmed, I'd say. I'd give them 2 days.

FAQ states that the billing cycle is 30 days. For those looking to start on 1st Aug, you next billing cycle might start on 31st Aug instead of 1st Sep. Weird that they price their plan per month but billing cycle is 30 days. Simba plans are priced per 30 days.

Thanks for highlighting this. Can someone confirm how this works?

I'm waiting for 1 Aug to sign-up for the eSIM because I prefer for my quota to be reset on the 1st of every month. If they do it every 30 days anyway then I wouldn't bother liao. Just sign up now.

i port over yesterday. Yesterday afternoon paid for physical sim $8 plan, because this is my secondary line. After work, went down lucky plaza collect SIM card. Then go to SIMBA orchard central to pay lucky number ransom fee. at night around 11pm-12am, port over successfully. No sms notifications whatsoever.

side note: I have asked the CS, cannot downgrade to $0 plan, cause I noticed can port in to the $0 first…

During your port in period, they will assign you temporary number, use that temporary number to sign in and get OTP. Once ported over, use your original number to OTP.

  • My porting has failed what should I do?
    • We just need to check a few details. Please make sure the name and the NRIC under the current provider is the same as the one you provided during the sign up.
    • Done the check-up and not sure why? Write to us at portin@eight.com.sg.

I tried this in a retailer shop, but will not go through unless you cancel 1 of your 2 free lines. Each IC can only have max 2 lines.

Also, retailer cannot help to cancel line, they told me need to go to service center at Lucky Plaza.

Or can cancel on line, but not immediate.

Anyone with different experience, please share.

Yep, got the same response speaking to the retailer at Tiong Bharu.

Or alternatively, let the line run out after 88 days (add another 60 days of waiting time in case one wished to recover the number) :ROFLMAO:
