How I wish my porting process is as smooth as yours. As of now still no response from Eight yet. First time facing issue for porting. Have done multiple porting over the past few years, all also no issues.
what i understand is maybe simba holding back, you need to check with simba
starhub to starhub i supposed its fast, cos they are same telco
giga and eight belongs to starhub

if it is urgent and you need to use the line, suggest you make a trip to ubi centre to solve the issue?

Have checked with Simba, they have released the line. I’m in no man’s land now, when I call my number, it’s says the number I dial can’t be connected. I’m neither on Simba nor on StarHub network. If I’m I already on Eight network, I will get the “StarHub is unable to get a response from the …….”

Have you restarted your phone? If not, please do that, to see if it works

Port In:
20th Aug 3pm
: Applied for port-in online for e-sim, current telco is Simba.

20th Aug 11pm: Received email from Simba stating service is terminated.

21st Aug: Still unable to receive calls and sms as of now on Eight network. Have already send them an email.

From what I can observed from all the previous posts, most fuss free are those porting in from StarHub or MNVO using StarHub network. This is the first time I encounter that a port in is still not completed by morning. Normally is previous day around 11 plus existing telco line will be terminated, next day morning port in will be completed already.
Too many pple moving out of tpg, hit daily quota

Yeah, will probably head down if issue not resolved by tomorrow. Very far away from my place.
My place to Lucky Plaza is almost like a walk in the park, but I bit the bullet and took bus to Ubi.

Can't deny that I was delighted to see they've lots of makan places in the vicinity. :lick:

When come to ID part it failed and cannot proceed further.

The NDP code is the only way you can get to their $0 plan now, and it's to be done online. 88 days FOC.
Oh yes, i just want to confirm if porting in from Zym is also FOC $0 for 88 days, later go down collect SIM and suddenly and they request to pay monthly $8 lol

Make sure you've strong stable network connection, and a bright environment to take selfie and photos of your ID.

Yeah that 2 blocks have so much caipng.
Even one store, yes a store of its own unit#.
China style caipng...

If you did it online with that code, and input your own number to port in, then will be FOC plan.

Free and paid plans have different names. See which one does your correspondence have.

Actually I only walked around since I hardly go there, but seeing so much food around made me hungry so ended up with early dinner. :s34:
