seems like eight sms network is down.

cant receive sms to login to eight website.

the apps account login site is available, but when enter from browser, it says the site is under maintenance.

Just logged in to mine from Safari, no issue. Not noticed lost of network during the night as I was using the phone around that time too...

Had the same problem on Thursday.
sms otp receives after its validity which is 5mins.

So since it already says that the site is under maintenance, that's your answer, right? Though it isn't very professional, that's how lean backend teams handle maintenance; they just do it whenever they feel like it without any announcements, usually at "dead" hours like 2am.

As I'm the designated Head of QA for Eight, could you please post more details whenever you're reporting a bug? Which Thursday? This week, last month, or last decade? What time did it happen? Were you indoors or outdoors? Was it very crowded where you were? Were you in a basement? Were you in SG, Antarctica, or Mars? You said that your SMS OTP was received after 5 minutes, but how much later, exactly? Was it 3 minutes later, 3 hours later, or 3 decades later?

Lastly, remember to create a ticket and document your bug report clearly!

Eight no longer giving out $0 plan SIM?
No more road shows after comex.
Anyone knows where can still get the $0 plan SIM card.

I'm afraid that when they launched the "EIGHTNDP2024 $0 Super Eight plan for 88 days" promotion, they clearly stated in their T&Cs that it was only for the first 28,888 subscribers or 31st August 2024, whichever came first. They actually allowed signups on 1st September 2024; they only took it down on Monday 2nd September 2024.

Since it's now 7th September 2024... you can draw your own conclusions.

The "Top up $8 get $8 Promotion" is still ongoing until 30 September 2024.
