Lucky number can cost between $10 to $3888 IIRC, so the cost divide by 24 months multiple by outstanding. So this case can be nearly $40 to nearly $3918.

Say I choose a $10 lucky number and want to port out within 30 days, I've to go pay them up to $40 over the counter.

Somebody tried to port his Lucky number from Simba which was activated less than 30 days ago into Eight, and the porting failed. Now his Simba also has no connection.

nope, why need PDF receipt. My plan still free till Oct. There's a billing tab on their website which I suppose is to downlaod PDF bills from there.

There's nothing there, I just renewed as well, hence I asked.

Claiming from company. Accounts Department need receipts or invoice to submit claims. Colleagues all submit their Singtel, M1, StarHub bills monthly for employee privileges.

eight never send any pdf on sign-up, renewal, top-ups.

Just switch lah. Cheaper than Giga and about the same performance for me. I didn’t have any issues on Giga; just looking for cheaper and similar performance

This person thought he already paid $10 for the lucky number, so nothing else to pay.

The $10 paid during registration is only 50% of the cost, like a special offer but have to stay for 2 years otherwise cough up the other 50% pro-rated. That's on top of the other $10 for the line's first month. That's presuming signed up the $10 plan.

Then $30 for not sitting tight for at least 30 days.

Giga uses starhub network as well. So I don’t think it’ll make much of a difference. But the roaming connection is solid based on my experience in Vietnam.

That's why have to take all "Eight sucks!!!" posts with a pinch of salt. Often times it's the customer who sucks.

has anyone ported into eight from circles life? my port out was blocked and when i called circles, they tried to coax me into not porting out and offered me more gb data, roaming and free 1 month. i told them decision made to go with eight and they released the number for port out. then i tried to email eight cust service but no reply. also dropped a comment on their fb page and no response there as well

how do you initiate the port-in for eight in the first place? Have you considered going to Ubi to resolve the port-in issue?

under same network, port in takes quite fast... within few hours
