@kelvinti won't hedge like you all haha. The telco landscape now so fluid, later got better deal out there and you are stucked.

Later got new MVNO arrived called Se7en how? $7/mth . Risky for invest so much.

yeah agreed, very fluid and many competitors out there
for me, few mths is good and stay with it for now.. wont hedge till 1year
5mths is very fast over... and i need the roaming data for now
i do not need the speed nor the local data. give me 100gb also under use
i dont want to commit for too long

yeah, its the goodies
for me, i am attracted to data roaming and bonus is idd calls
two factors are important to me.. if other telco can match and lower the price and up the plan, i will port after 5mths later, nothing to lose cos my price is $6++, happy to use it... unless anything lesser than the price and can give me more data roaming

by right starhub no issue to port over to eight, cos same network and eight is subsidiary of starhub

for me, i went to ubi service centre to do porting, as cannot afford my line to be down

Next question in a moment, is the free $0 plan still available for sign ups? How many months free? Can still collect sim card at roadshows? How many lines can we sign up for free lines?

Has anyone's paid eight plan expire already?

How many days do we get before they cut off the line and we no longer are able to receive sms on the line?

The FAQ says there is a 60 day grace after which the wallet credits would be forfeited but it doesn't mention what will happen to the line, will it still remain there?

Agree. Why make a non contract to become a contract? Id rather be flexible and shop for the best deals. Haha.

Indeed, I wouldn't top up too much of my wallet too, so that I have the flexibility to hop to another telco with better deal if it appears.

the only time i will top up extra is during Simba's NDP top up promo, for my parents senior plan, top up $20, free $5. I top $40, i will get $50 credits. Worth 10 months. I remember during simba top up promo, alot users also top up more than $100.
