Also. For those on circles.life if want to port out make sure to turn off secureme feature in circles.life apps. If not port out will fail. Funny because i have already turned mine off and it still says number not active.

My friend went to Jurong point to port in his number to Eight. The retailer told him have to be at least 7 days before the renewal date then can port in. I don’t know why the retailer telling him this as this is not true at all.

gomo has to be 5 days before the plan renewal date

what I was told it has be days before renewal date otherwise may result port in failure. so it depends on telco. Best is 7days to avoid failure

Does anyone know if the connection at underground lines especially around CBD MRT stations okay annot? Using ZYM now sometimes drop a bit. Also got see some posts some months ago that cnt port out from Eight as other telco doesn't recognize it as a postpaid number? Still true now? ty!

Hi guys, want to consult the shifus here. I just successfully ported from vivifi this morning. No official notification but i manage to log in to website (can receive otp) and it shows my port in no.

however i cannot receive otp from apps such as Snack. I cannot test my bank as mostly its face id for the moment but i wonder how do i fix this sms otp thing? Do i have to port out to fix it?

did not have this issue on vivifi at all sadly. I realise my mobile in ios shows the temp no and not my port in no. Do i need to remove the sim and reinsert? I inserted the sim before port in was done as my old sim was terminated around 11pm the night before

Since you requested for an update, I’m still unable to receive OTP SMS. Judging by some posts here, I fear that my issue is never going to be resolved. Really messes up my plans. Now I cannot transfer funds to banks/finance companies that requires OTP SMS for verification despite them offering good interest rates! As it is some funds are already stuck in some banks/insurance companies.
Hi, was your issue resolved as i am from vivifi porting in too. Have the same issue as you

Ok, thanks. Because I port in from both Giga and CL to Eight, retailer don't ask about my renewal date. So it up to the person whether he wants to avoid paying another month of subscription if the port in don't go through.

U got friend to verify your number via call or sms?

u got friend to send u sms or call u your number?
