To add on.Majority of such posts are by morons who didn't read the FAQ regarding 3 to 5 working days for singpost delivery. Then when their SIM card comes the next day, they never delete their misleading posts.
Eight isn't perfect and I'm sure they occasionally botched up especially initially. To add on.
A birdie at singpost that i know informed me that during that initial batch of sign ups for Eight SIM card, address registration for was basically botched. (Eight and starhub has a hand to play in this fiasco)
then comes the other issue
- Missing address
- Name too long
- Address cut off, don't have level, don't have unit
- Registered with surname and left out last name, vice versa
etc....
This issue should be greatly reduced now with the singpass registration but damn, this birdie saw piles undeliverable due to incomplete this and that.
Not bad. Hope they are clean exclusive retailers.
pick-up points should be clean. Anyway, go there is to collect sim card, not go there to sign up / port mobile line and kena extra charges
What is the definition of clean in this context?yeap West Side also has a few authorized ones.. and they are clean i believe so.
They didn't put the shop name for easier to find.. for some reasons
Fault on both parties, imho.To add on.

Customer screwing up isn't the problem, after all everyone makes mistakes.Fault on both parties, imho.
Form should be more restrictive and be more accurate, BUT customers can fill up literally anything that matches the form validation.
Like what you mentioned for names, they just fill up surnames. From a customer POV, if you fill up in some half **** manner, what else do they even think they will get?

Yup. I absolutely hate this. To be blunt, it is some sort of loser's mentality for such posts. It's when they don't learn from them, or they leave their original "I have not received my SIM card in the post yet, EIGHT IS A SCAM!!!" post and don't delete it even though it's entirely their own fault for not putting in their address correctly, that gives a misleading impression.

I don't trust their "forever" marketing after they discontinued their Flexi $0 plan which was marketed as forever as well.I recd circle life email promo 188gb for $8, unlimited in and out going call, forever plan.![]()
just curious..idd roaming calls when you are overseas it’s given 288mins…how about receiving incoming calls when overseas, does it deduct from the 288mins?
so does receiving incoming calls overseas deduct from idd roaming? Cos it says only outgoing 288mins
Never trust snakes. They already showed they lied about their forever.I recd circle life email promo 188gb for $8, unlimited in and out going call, forever plan.![]()
Until recently I still see FB posts asking about the non-delivery of their SIM cards. One powderful post simply said "where's my SIM card?"
My personal choice is sign up online and collect from the pick up point I'm comfortable with. Just need to provide info from email or SMS, don't need to show ID.
