my wife's account still there, resend QR code. I think if i press the refresh button on the eSIM status, the function will disappaear.

so everyone, be warned!

anyway, since it is not available, i gg to port out.
Maybe they're still trying to work around their "We've no plans for 5G." posts from just the other month.

Just do it, Eight! :s13:

Most of zym users with plans under $10, already have no more 5G NSA and have ported out. It's not a loophole, it's a carrot to let you enjoy the benefit of Singtel 5G so when they remove it, you will still want it, and to continue with them.

my 10.10 plan shows 4g+
My 2 years plus ZYM plan is less than $10 and I still have 5G.

5G at $8? :ROFLMAO:
totally impossible. :p
Not necessarily. Conceivably (if their tolling and network support it) Eight could offer the first 18GB per cycle at 5G and the next 388GB at 4G, or something similar. And you could manage across those allotments from your phone. Enable 5G only when you want it.

I’m not predicting that’s what Eight will do. But a split 5G/4G allocation would be fairly clever if their infrastructure allows it.

Simba offers 5G for $5.
For seniors, and typically SIMBA 5G is sub-4G performance that drains your battery faster. But if it makes you feel better that your phone says “5G”.…🤷‍♂️

Many people are happy with SIMBA’s network, and that’s more than fine. It’s a great value for many. But it’s not because SIMBA has awesome data transfer speeds.

If eight is offering 5g for free no one will reject it,

if need to pay extra I think most will not bother to pay for it since most really do not need it,
I see the "most really do not need it" as either already damn happy with their 4G, or waiting to port out once confirmed have to pay more to get their 5G.

Lots of people have 4G-only devices. And it’s hilarious if/when they think another plan will be better for them just because it offers 5G. (It could be worse!)

When someone gets better value out of a 4G-only plan, good for them! In the future we’ll probably see 5G/4G-only plans that don’t include 6G. And if those 5G/4G-only plans offer better value, fantastic! Enjoy the value for money.
